Experience at quarterback and an excellent wideout will keep the Vandals out of the cellar in the Sun Belt. The team plays in the 16,000 seat, Kibble Dome.

The 2015 Idaho Vandals will rely on their quarterback, Matt Linehan. The son of former NFL Head Coach and current Dallas Cowboys assistant Scott Linehan. The redshirt Sophomore must cut down on interceptions this season, he threw 18 in 2014. The Quarterback threw for 2.540 yards in 2014. Linehan will not have Josh McCain, who led the Conference in catches last season. The Good news is Dezmon Epps is back after missing last season for violating team rules. Running Back Elijah Penny is back after gaining nearly 600 yards rushing last season. Tight End Deon Watson a converted receiver is also a valuable option. The offensive line will return four starters but lost a center who started every game in his college career. The Vandals defense lost three coaches from the staff, including the coordinator. Mike Breske comes in from Washington State to run the defense. The Front seven returns four starters. Defensive End Quinton Bradley has next level potential. Linebacker Marc Millan has a team-high 102 tackles last season returns. Three starters return in the secondary led by cornerback Jay Shawn Jordan.
