The 2015 Florida Atlantic Owls football team return thirteen starters from last seasons 3-9 (2-6) in Conference USA. It includes the kicker and punter. Head Coach Charlie Partridge is in his second season at the Boca Raton school. Partridge is trying to continue what Howard Schnellenberger began in 2001. FAU enters its second season as members of C-USA after seven in the Sun Belt Conference. The Owls have talent on offense with an experienced quarterback, and the offensive line has gotten better. Florida Atlantic plays home games at the 30,000 seat FAU Stadium on campus off of Interstate 95 in Palm Beach County.

The 2015 Florida Atlantic Owls offense, led by Senior signal caller Jaquez Johnson (2,215) passing yards last season. Johnson also ran for (513) yards in 2014 nearly as much as returning running back Jay Warren (571) yards. There is optimism in the trenches with four returnees on the offensive line. The Owls coaching staff is concerned about the wide receiver position with one returning starter. Senior Jenson Stoshak (37 catches for 508 yards. Sophomore Caleb Woods will also contribute at the wide receiver position. The Florida Atlantic Owls went 7-5 on ATS Football Predictions last season, going over the betting odds total seven times and staying under the betting odds total five.

There are five returnees on defense, but there is still a concern. Defensive Ends Robinson Eugene and Troy Hendrickson must be more consistent. Tackle Trevon Coley is a stout run stopper. Junior Robert Relt is the lone starting returner at linebacker. Nate Ozdemir saw significant action last season and expects to be a starter in 2015. The secondary lost three starters, but there is experience with players that saw action in the past. The Owls will be good against the run and get a pass rush, but can the backend hold up.
