Western Michigan has talent and will upset some good teams. The East division is wide open with Bowling Green being the favorite. The NCAA Football Betting Experts at ranks the teams in the Mid-American Football Conference for 2015.

(1) *The Bowling Green Falcons is our pick to win the East division. Quarterback Matt Johnson is under center in 2015 after missing all but one game last season. The Falcons have the best talent in the Conference on offense. The defense is going to be a work in progress.
(2)*The Buffalo Bulls also have talent on offense. A new head coach will bring excitement and a new system to “WESTERN NEW YORK”.
(3)*Terry Bowden enters his third season in LeBron James hometown. The Akron Zips can play defense with the best teams in the MAC. The problem is going to be on offense.
(4)*The Ohio Univerity Bobcats return fifteen starters on both sides of the football. There are no proven game changers on either side of the football.
(5)*UMass is known primarily as a basketball institute. Quarterback Blake Frohnapfel can throw the football with the best in the nation. The Minutemen will put points on the board, but the defense needs more FBS talent.
(6)*The Kent State Football team will improve on their 1-6 Conference record. The Golden Flashes have not been the same since Darrell Hazel left for Purdue. Kent State has to find a way to move the football on offense.
(7)*The Miami University RedHawks will be able to compete on defense. The Miami U offense will keep them in the basement again this season.

(1)*The Toledo Rockets will overtake Northern Illinois in the West Division. The Rockets have the best running back in the conference and an improved secondary.
(2)*The Western Michigan Broncos are young on both sides of the football. Quarterback Zach Terrell and a sophomore stud at running back make the Broncos dangerous. The Broncos playmakers make them the second-best team in the MAC West.
(3)*Drew Hare can play quarterback, but Northern Illinois has shot their load. The Huskies get Western Michigan at home. NIU has tough road trips at Central Michigan and Toledo.
(4)*The Central Michigan Chippewas football program has sent plenty of players to the NFL over the past decade. There is talent again at CMU, but the West division is stacked.(5)*Ball State lost a very good running back after a career ending injury. The Cardinals have talent and depth at the wideout position, but that’s is about it.(6)*Eastern Michigan will stay in familiar territory, and that is at the bottom of the standings. The Eagles will probably be underdogs in every game this season, there is hope for a victory ay Miami-Ohio in November.
