Many former NFL players believe LeBeau will attract free agents to the Tennessee Titans shortly. He just knows how to deal with the young ego. LeBeau was the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals from 2000-2003, before going back to his familiar role as defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator.

Titans Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt worked with LeBeau for six years in the “STEEL CITY”. The 77-year old chose Tennessee over Arizona due to its proximity to the State of Ohio, especially the Cincinnati area.

Pittsburgh’s loss is the Titans gain. The Steelers organization felt is in the best interest of both parties to go their separate way. The Rooney family is one of the most loyal in professional sports. There is still a mutual respect between the organization and LeBeau. Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin feels the same way and is grateful for gaining knowledge from the icon. Steelers players and fans also wish LeBeau the best with his new position. The Tennesse Titans defense will have discipline in the upcoming season. The addition of the 77-year old, the Titans will become a popular destination for players at the end of the career who have something left in the tank.
