Meyer enters his fourth season with a 38-3 record. The Buckeyes biggest loss is Offensive coordinator Tom Hermann, who is now the head coach at the University of Houston. Eight starters return to the Ohio State Buckeyes offense in 2015. Three capable quarterbacks are in the mix with former starter Braxton Miller, J.T. Barrett, and Cardale Jones. Jones took the College Football landscape by storm at the end of the 2014-15 season by leading the Buckeyes past Wisconsin, Alabama, and Oregon. Junior All-American Running Back Ezekiel Elliott (1,878) rushing yards will get the majority of the carries in the backfield. Wideouts Jalin Marshall and Michael Thomas will replace NFL draft pick Devin Smith in the passing game. Both Marshall and Smith are big time players. Sophomore Raekwon McMillan, Darron Lee, and Joshua Perry are all athletic and can make plays all over the field. The Ohio State secondary is also very good. Returning starting Cornerback Eli Apple has NFL potential, safeties Vonn Bell and Tyvis Powell started last season. The Ohio State Buckeyes are loaded again, and the defense will be much improved.
