The 2015 Texas San Antonio Road Runners are picked to finish at the bottom of the C-USA standings this season. Head Coach Larry Cokers team returns only six starters on both sides of the football. UTSA jumped out of the gates fast in 2014, beating Houston on the road and went on to lose eight of ten. Injuries decimated the squad last year. The Roadrunners are rebuilding. The project shouldn’t take long, there is plenty of talent in the “LONE STAR STATE”. Coker knows how to attract potential recruits to the metropolitan San Antonio area. The Roadrunners have a tough schedule with non-conference matchups against Kansas State, Colorado State and Oklahoma State. Did we mention Thursday Night’s opener? The god news is the team should be ready for Conference opponents. UTSA will have UTSA has the least amount of returning starters of any FBS school. Junior running back Jarveon Williams should get plenty of carries to start the season. Defensive coordinator Neal Neathery only has eight players with starting experience. It could be a long night in Tuscon.

The 2015 Arizona Wildcats could be right in the thick of the PAC-Twelve South hunt. The Wildcats won the South Division in 2014 and split with Oregon last season, beating the Ducks on the road. Sophomore quarterback Anu Solomon (3,793) passing yards is the leader on offense. The Las Vegas native started as a true freshman last year. All-American linebacker Scooby Wright is on the Butkus watch list. The Wildcats lack the five-star recruits of counterparts USC and UCLA. But “RICH ROD” will make the best of what he has. It will take a lot to exceed the success of 2014. Three of the top four receivers return along with running back Nick Wilson. It will still be hard to convince outsiders that last season wasn’t a fluke. The South Division will be ready for the Wildcats this season, they won’t catch anyone off guard in 2015. With Solomon having a years experience under his belt Rodriguez wants the offense to operate and a faster pace than last year. Arizona will cruise the first the first three games before UCLA invades Tuscon.
