The New York Giants started out week three of the 2015 NFL season with a Thursday Night victory over divisional opponents Washington. New York lost double-digit leads going into the fourth quarter in their first two contests. Head Coach Tom Caughlin and quarterback Eli Manning believes the “G-MEN” are ready to make a run at an NFC East Title. Speaking of the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles and mad scientist Chip Kelly also got their first win of the 2015 season at Met Life Stadium against the New York Jets. Philadelphia go off the a 24-0 lead before the New York Jets cut it the 24-7 with a touchdown before the half.
The Indianapolis Colts got a much-needed victory at Tennessee on Sunday. Indianapolis stormed back from a fourth quarter deficit to outlast the Titans 35-33. Head Coach Chuck Pagano and his Colts are a sexy prediction to get to the 2016 Superbowl. Pagano brought in some highly skilled free agents, which he was familiar with from his day’s at the University of Miami. Many NFL experts believed the road victory saved his job. Pagano gave an inspirational and emotional speech to his team in the locker room. Quarterback Andrew Luck is still off target in efficiency throwing the football, but a win is what Indianapolis needed in the weak AFC South division. The Houston Texans are a team that is supposed to push Indianapolis in the Division. Houston got a fourth quarter 20-yard touchdown run by Alfred Blue to take the lead. Blue finished the day with 139 rushing yards. Kicker Randy Bullock put the game away with a field goal late in the fourth.
The Seattle Seahawks are now two games behind Arizona with a 26-0 home victory vs. The winless Chicago Bears. Quarterback Russell Wilson finally connected with newly acquired tight End Jimmy Graham on a thirty yard touchdown in the third quarter. Seattle pro-Bowl safety Kam Chancellor returned to the team after a contract dispute with management. Everything is in place for Seattle to defend their NFC championship. Sunday left the New Orleans Saints winless and fans in the “BIG EASY” want answers. Luke McCown filled in admirably for the injured Drew Brees, but New Orleans still came up short. John Fox and the Chicago Bears are still winless. Jimmy Clausen filled in for Jay Cutler, they really didn’t have a chance at Seattle. The Detroit Lions lost on Sunday Night in their home opener against The Denver Broncos. Detroit must hope for a Green Bay loss on Monday Night Football. A 3-game lead may be too much to overcome for Detroit.
