The New England offense got off to a rough start with Dallas defensive end Greg Hardy getting two sacks early in the first quarter. Next up for New England is a road trip to Indianapolis for a rematch of last year’s AFC title game and “DEFLATE GATE”. Brady will work even harder to bury the Colts. This guy is a football player on a mission and more important to hoist the 2016 Lombardi Trophy. The Denver Broncos went to 5-0 at Oakland. The Raiders were moving the football with intentions of getting into field goal range late in the game. That’s was the plan until Broncos cornerback Chris Harris intercepted Oakland quarterback Derek Carr for a touchdown.
The Atlanta Falcons also join the ranks of unbeaten teams in the 2015 NFL season with a 25-19 home overtime victory over the Washington Redskins. Atlanta also preserved after being down most of the game. Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan threw two interceptions but second-year running back Devonta Freeman rushed for 153 yards. The former Florida State star is bringing balance to an offense that depended too much on the passing game. The Falcons are for real. Atlanta joins the 4-0 Carolina Panthers also of the AFC South in the first place. The Green Bay Packers also went to 5-0 with a 21-10 home victory over the St.Louis Rams. Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rogers looked human, throwing two interceptions but the defense stepped up. Green Bay is running away with the NFC North, and head coach Mike McCarthy must keep the team focused.
