NCAA Football Predictions: Week 7 Recap.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are back in the drivers seat in the Southern Eastern Conference West Division. The Crimson Tide early season home loss to “OLE MISS” may have been the best thing to get the team back in focus. Alabama went into College Station, Texas and took care of the Texas A&M Aggies 41-23 on Saturday, October 17th. Head Coach Nick Saban game planned to run the football right at the interior of the Texas A&M defense. Running Back Derrick Henry rushed for 236 yards and the Crimson Tide returned three interceptions for touchdowns. Ole Miss went into Memphis and lost another football contest. Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch audition for the NFL was too much for the Rebels defense to overcome. The 6″7′ senior signal caller was brilliant in the upset victory?

The Memphis Tigers are not the only American Athletic Conference Football team to make headlines. The Tigers got a signature win vs. A quality opponent this weekend. Three AAC teams cracked the top twenty-five in the latest polls. Temple and Memphis of the East Division join the Houston Cougars of the AAC-West in the polls. The Memphis has back to back road trips on November 14th at Houston and November 21st at Temple. The matchup vs. The Temple Owls will probably determine the AAC East winner. What an exciting time for the American Athletic Conference Television appearances and a BCS bowl could be on the line for the Conference champion. The Michigan State Spartans got an improbable win on the last play of the game at Michigan, the Spartans are holding down the number seven spot in the latest polls. There are two Saturdays left in the month of October and there is going to be some exciting football being played throughout the nation.

The Utah Utes continue to rise, they come in at number two nationally after their 34-18 victory against Arizona State. The Utes would have greatly benefited if Michigan could have held on and beaten Michigan State. Utah beat the Michigan Wolverines in the season opener. LSU beat Florida in “DEATH VALLEY” 35-28, they remain the sixth-ranked football team in the country. The fifth-ranked Clemson Tigers beat Boston College at home, setting up a November 7th home date with the unbeaten Florida State Seminoles. The Tigers travel to South Florida next Saturday, October 24th to face the Miami Hurricanes. Clemson can’t get caught looking ahead. Miami has enough talent to beat the Tigers, head coach Dabo Swinney must make it clear to his team.
