The (2-4) New Orleans Saints of the National Football Conference South Division will be in the “HOOSIERS STATE” for an interconference matchup. New Orleans will play the (3-3) Indianapolis Colts of the AFC South in 2015 NFL action. The teams will play at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Kickoff time is at 1:00 PM EST. The game is on Sunday, October, 25th 2015. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the New Orleans Saints management will have to make some unpopular decisions after the season. Only a playoff run the last two months of the season will silent the critics. The Indianapolis Colts are the best team in their Division, but they reloaded for an NFL title run. The Opening betting line has Indianapolis as a five-point Home Favorite Against The Spread. The Betting Odds total is 52′-points for Sunday’s game.
The 2015 New Orleans Saints have won two of their last three, including a much-needed home victory against Atlanta on October 15th. Starting quarterback Drew Brees has been less than spectacular this season. There are some in the “BIG EASY” calling for a change at the position. The Saints recently released two receivers and added two players from the practice squad to the active roster. Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan has taken his share of the blame for the Saints inadequacies of defense. Added depth to the secondary will help against big plays. New Orleans will be without two cornerbacks at Indianapolis and the staff is looking for a playmaker to step up. The Saints offense practiced ball security at practice this week, turnovers are taking their toll on the offense. The offensive line must do a better job pass-blocking for Brees. Big plays from explosive free agent C.J. Spiller would also help the offense. First round draft choice Stephone Anthony is calling defensive alignments which is a lot for a young player. Ryan has to make the job easier to the former Clemson standout.
The pressure is also on Colts head coach Chuch Pagano in the “CIRCLE CITY”. Fans in Indianapolis have seen the progression of quarterback Andrew Luck and are pleased with his progress. Indianapolis has gotten better each season since the former Stanford Cardinal signal caller took over for Peyton Manning. 2015 is suppose to be the season it all comes together. The additions of veteran running back Frank Gore and wideout Andre Johnson has not panned out a well as the team thought. Gore is still at the top of his game, but Johnson is not the leader the team had hoped he would be. Indianapolis should win the AFC South Division and a Superbowl appearance is what’s on their agenda. The key to an Indianapolis victory is for the offense and d-line to dominate. Luck is healthy again and he must develop continuity with his receivers.
The Betting Odds Over The Total are 5-0 Clemson New Orleans last five in week seven.
The favorite is 4-1 the last five meetings between the teams.
