The Houston Texans organization are not talking about the latest rumors about head coach Bill O’Brien showing interest in the University of Maryland job. Houston may not be the right fit for O’Brien, but who knows how it’s going to play out. O’Brien and his coaching staff are not getting the job done in Houston. Owner Bob McNair is far from satisfies with General Manager Rick Smith and O’Brien. Changes at the top of the organization are coming sooner than later. First things first and on the agenda for the Texans in a Monday Night Prime Time matchup at Cincinnati. Houston is struggling on offense both throwing the football and in the running game. Houston has only rushed for 100-yards once this season and that was at Tampa Bay. O’Brien has gone back and forth with Quarterbacks Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett. No franchise can have success without a leader at the most important position on the field, and it has caused concerns throughout the organization. The key to a Houston win Monday Night is for the defense to step up and make plays.

The 2015 Cincinnati Bengals are in unfamiliar territory with an 8-0 record. The Cincinnati organization has done something right for the first time in the Mike Brown era. The son of the late legendary Paul Brown is has done the right thing by sticking with Marvin Lewis as the head coach and it’s paying dividends. The Cincinnati organization also kept core players, signing them to long-term contracts and it is showing on the field. The Cincinnati Bengals are two deep at nearly every position. It has been the next man up mentality. Starting quarterback Andy Dalton looks comfortable under center, and they have an explosive running game. Cincinnati can compete with any team in the NFL. The front four on defense is as good as it gets. Cornerback Adam Jones has become a leader in the secondary and his time with the organization has made him a better man. The key to a Cincinnati win is to stay in focus; they must be aware Houston is capable of pulling off the upset.

Houston is 6-1 Against The Point Spread the last seven between the teams.

The Betting Odds Under The Total are 5-2 the last seven meetings.
