Written and authored by National Basketball Association Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Basketball Betting news and notes. NBA Premium Picks have been winning at a 77.1% rate and will continue through the 2016 NBA Finals in 2016. The (16-8) Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA Western Conference Northwest Division will be in the “BUCKEYE STATE” for an out of Conference matchup. Oklahoma City will play the (16-7) Cleveland Cavaliers of the Eastern Conference Central in 2015 NBA action. The game is at Quicken Loans Arena aka “THE Q” in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Tip-Off time is at 8:00 PM EST on the TNT Television Network. The game is on Thursday, December, 17th 2015. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Oklahoma City Thunder organization is adapting well to the changes in the coaching staff. The Thunder are going to be a tough out in the 2016 NBA Playoffs. Cleveland is the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers will be even better with the return on All-Star Kyrie Irving. The Opening betting line has Cleveland as a three and a half-point Home Favorite Against The Spread. The Betting Odds total is 205′-points for Thursday’s game.

The 2015-16 Oklahoma City Thunder are on a five-game winning streak. Oklahoma City is playing Portland on Wednesday, December 16th. The Thunder better be in condition, they will host the Los Angeles Clippers on the 19th of this month. Three games in four days is a tough task, even by NBA standards. Oklahoma City ranks second in the NBA scoring the basketball with a 106.7 ppg average. Defensively Oklahoma City is a middle of the pack team. Head Coach Billy Donovan knows his team will win the Northwest Division, but advancing in the West is another story. The big-two of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook lead the team in four of five broad categories. Forward Serge Ibaka blocks a team-high two and a half shots per contest. The trio has been together since the team made their initial run five seasons ago. Westbrook recently gave his Alma Mater, UCLA the largest monetary contribution of any athlete in the history of the Southern California Institute. Guard Dion Waiters has an extra incentive with his return to the team that drafted him. The key to an “OKC” win is to play at a fast pace.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are still without their starting backcourt of Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert. Cleveland is currently on a three-game win streak. The Cavaliers have won their last two away from home with wins at Orlando and most recently at Boston. Cleveland is 15th in the league scoring the basketball. The Cavaliers defense is the fourth league-wide, allowing the opposition 101.4 points per game. Head Coach David Blatt is doing a decent job with team chemistry but he must deliver an NBA title this season. The best player in the world LeBron James is the team leader in scoring, assists, and steals. Kevin Love is finding his comfort zone with the team and grabs a team-best eleven rebounds per contest. The Cavaliers have the talent to win the 2016 NBA Championship. As a matter of fact with a healthy Irving, the Cavaliers will be favored over the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors. The key to a Cleveland win Thursday is to play within the system.

The Betting Odds Under The Total are 9-1 Oklahoma City last nine overall.

Cleveland is 4-1 Against The Point Spread Playing on one day rest.
