March Madness Recap for Field of 64: Thursday’s Early Action and what to look for Friday.

The Two ten seed vs. Seven are going to be exciting contests. Let’s start with VCU, a ten seed who got an At-Lage bid. The Rams will be in Oklahoma City to face the seven seed Oregon State Ducks. Shaka Smart is no longer coaching at the Richmond, Virginia Institute but the Rams have plenty of talent. Las Vegas love the Rams again this season. Oregon State also got in the got into the Tournament passing the eye test. The Beavers lost in the semi-finals of the PAC-Twelve Tournament. Oregon State has two starters with familiar names in the month of March. Gary Peyton Jr. And Stevie Thompson are two of the Beavers stars and their fathers also performed at a high level in the NCAA Tournament. Peyton as a members of the Beavers and Thompson at Syracuse. Thompson is also a member of the Oregon State coaching Staff.

The Temple Owls of the American Athletic Conference take on the Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten in what could turn out to be one of the most intriguing matchups Friday. Both teams struggled down the stretch of the regular season. At one point in the 2016 season, Iowa was a top three team in the nation. The Hawkeyes lost four of five to end the regular season. Iowa lost four of five to end the regular season. Making matters worst the Hawkeyes got embarrassed by Illinois in the first round of the Big-Ten Tournament. Temple lost to Tournament tested Connecticut in the A-10 Tournament. Temple fans are feeling right about making the short trip to Brooklyn, New York where the game is going to be played. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish plays the Michigan Wolverines at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Nice to see the two football powerhouses get it on the hardwood. Friday promises to be another beautiful day of March Madness action.
