Written and authored by NCAA Basketball March Madness Expert Analyst Bobby Wallace. Charliessports.com produces it for Basketball news and notes. Our 500-star NCAA Basketball 500-star Premium Picks have been winning at a 72.1% rate and will continue into the 2016 March Madness Finals in April. How can Northern Iowa Basketball coach Ben Jacobson explain losing a double-digit lead with less than forty seconds left in an NCAA Tournament game? The Northern Iowa Panthers players don’t even want to watch the game film, after losing to Texa A&M in round 2. It must have been a long plane ride home for NIU. The kids will attend class this week while the Texas A&M Aggies will be facing the Oklahoma Sooners. Not too long ago the Texas A&M Aggies were members of the Big-Twelve Conference and played the Sooners twice a year. Texas A&M vacated the Big-12 for greener pastures in the SEC. The Aggies are now playing in the dominant football Conference.

The 2016 Miami Hurricanes are the most disrespected team in the Sweet 16. The Hurricanes, 2 point underdogs to Wichita State, are “DOGS” again in their Sweet 16 matchup with the Villanova Wildcats. Villanova took the will of Iowa in the first ten minutes of their second round matchup. The Hawkeyes should have taken a page from Texas A&M, “NEVER GIVE UP”. Miami Head Coach Jim Larranaga took George Mason to the Final Four nearly a decade ago; he has a veteran and talented team in 2016. The Hurricanes will give Villanova all they can handle at The YUM KFC Center in Louisville, Thursday Night. The Oregon Ducks will play Duke on Thursday Night in Anaheim, California. Another intriguing matchup. Duke beat UNC Wilmington and Yale to get to the Sweet-16. However, the Blue Devils are the lower seed which makes them more dangerous. The top seed Oregon Ducks will have their work cut out. Duke is a Tournament tested team with a coach with March experience.

Oregon and Duke have two great Freshman; Tyler Dorsey is the PAC-Twelve newcomer of the year. The Duke Blue Devils Brandon Ingram is a lottery pick in the 2016 NBA draft. Both players are capable of taking their teams to the Elite Eight. The same thing can be told about Duke sophomore Grayson Allen and Oregon Sophomore sensation Dillon Brooks. The Maryland Terrapins are one of three Big Ten Conference teams left in the Tournament, Indiana and Wisconsin are the others. Maryland gets the number-one overall seed Kansas Jayhawks in their Seet Sixteen matchup. This contest is going to be a test for the Jayhawks. Maryland has one of the best freshman post players in the nation with Milwaukee native Diamond Stone. Sophomore Melo Tremble can compete with the Kansas backcourt. Kansas Head Coach Bill Self will have his team ready for the second game in Louisville.
