The 2016 East Region has two of the most decorated basketball institutes in the history of the NCAA. Indiana and North Carolina have longstanding traditions not only in the Tournament but College Basketball. Iowa State wants to push the basketball at a fast pace. Whatever team imposes their will is going to advance. Virginia will milk the shot clock and look for a good shot. Iowa State will push a create havoc at both ends of the floor. Virginia and Iowa State have two of the top Seniors in all of College Basketball. Malcolm Brogdon of Virginia and Georges Niang are both going to be solid NBA players. First things first, win and advance. Two double-digit seeds will play in the nightcap. 11th seed Gonzaga will take on number 10 Syracuse. The ACC also puts two teams in the Midwest Region. These two teams play the same style, and it will be a grind it out kind of basketball contest. The “ZAGS” have an intimidator in the middle; Domantas Sabonis dominated their first two opponents.
