Kansas State takes on the (0-0) Stanford Cardinal of the PAC-12 North Division. Game time is at 9:00 PM EST on the FS-1 Television Network. The teams will play at Stanford Stadium on campus in Palo Alto, California.

The Cardinal are usually deep at the linebacker position but not this year. It is going to be tough to find another Blake Martinez, but the coaching staff accepts the challenge.

The secondary is not a concern despite losing Alex Carter to the NFL. Stanford also has talent on the defensive line, led by Solomon Thomas.
