Week Four of the 2016-17 College Football season is history, and we learned the LSU Tigers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish are out of the BCS Playoff discussion.
Not only did the LSU Tigers lose to Auburn as time expired, but head coach Les Miles is also out in Baton Rouge.
Notre Dame lost at home to the Duke Blue Devils, and head coach Brian Kelly parted way with defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder.
Kelly also made the mistake of blaming his players for the defeat. However, the players are not the ones making $5,000,000.00 per year.
Kelly could be on the “HOT SEAT” at the South Bend, Indiana Institute.
The Michigan Wolverines flexed their muscle with a home win over Penn State in Big-Ten East Division action.
The Wisconsin Badgers now have two signature wins so far this season. After upsetting LSU in the season opener, the Badgers went into East Lansing, Michigan and took the Michigan State Spartans to the “WOODSHED.”
The Badgers are no longer longshots to get to the BCS playoffs. The Tennessee Volunteers fell behind the Florida Gators 21-3 in the first half of their SEC East division showdown.
Volunteers head coach Butch Jones heard the “BOO BIRDS” as the team left the field at halftime.
Tennessee responded with a nearly-perfect second half and came away with a ten point victory.
The Stanford Cardinal had to score late in the game to pull out a road win against UCLA in PAC-Twelve action.
The Washington Huskies are also undefeated in the North Division of the Conference. The “OLE MISS REBELS” could be the best 2-2 team in the nation with an impressive home victory over Georgia.
Week five of the 2016-17 NCAA Football season has some exciting matchups on tap. Louisville will get a test on the road at Clemson on Saturday.
Heisman Trophy front-runner Lamar Jackson will face a stiff test in “DEATH VALLEY” on Saturday Night under the lights.
The weekend gets started with a crucial matchup in Seattle, Washington as the Stanford Cardinal travels to the Pacific Northwest.
Stanford will face the undefeated and number nine Washington Huskies. The Wisconsin Badgers can make another statement if they can go to the “BIG HOUSE” and take care of business against the Michigan Wolverines.
Michigan has the luxury of playing their first five games in front of the home crowd this season, which is unheard of in this day and age.
Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst will have the Badgers ready to compete. Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners will get another chance to improve their resume’.
The 1-2 Sooners will be in the “METROPLEX” for a huge Big Twelve showdown vs. fifteenth ranked TCU.
