The (6-4) LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference West Division will be in the “LONE STAR STATE” for their 2016-17 regular season finale.

LSU plays the (8-3) Texas A&M Aggies also of the SEC West in 2016 NCAA Football action. Game time is at 7:30 PM EST on the ESPN Television Network.

The teams will play at Kyle Field on campus in College Station, Texas. The game is on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

This Sports Handicapper believes the LSU Tigers has talent and the program will search for a head coach to mold them into champions after the season.

Ed Orgeron got his chance after the firing of Les Miles but didn’t get the job done.

The Texas A&M Aggies are a football program on the rise. Their high Texas recruiting base makes them competitive in the SEC West.

The Opening Betting line has the Texas A&M Aggies as a Seven Point Home Underdog Against The Spread. The Betting Odds Total is 47 Points for Thursday’s contest.

The LSU Tigers also watched their SEC West title hopes get dashed against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

LSU has already lost four games this season including three vs. SEC competition. LSU lost their home finale last week against the SEC East Champions Florida Gators.

Interim Head Coach Ed Orgeron who replaced Miles had the team on a three-game winning streak before the hole defeat to Alabama.

Despite having the best running back in the nation with Leonard Fournette, the Tigers offensive woes are visible.

The coaching staff benched Brandon Harris earlier in the season, but it has not helped much.

The strength of the “BAYOU BENGALS” is the defense, it has been that way for a few years.

Orgeron is a Louisiana native but has little chance of keeping the head coach title.

The school administration will seek out either Tom Herman of Houston or Jimbo Fisher of Florida State, Herman is the front runner due to his offensive expertise.

The key to an LSU victory is to play with intensity on both sides of the football. The LSU Tigers are also out of SEC West contention.

The 2016-17 Texas A&M Aggies are currently fourth in the best division on all of College Football.

Head Coach Kevin Sumlin did another masterful job with the program this season. The Aggies went from contending for the West Division title to third place in  a span of a few weeks.

Everything was playing out the way the coaching staff thought it would but things turned after a road loss to Alabama in October.

The defeat sent the Aggies into a tailspin and they loss back to back to Mississippi State and “OLE MISS”.

Texas A&M will probably get left out of a New Year’s Day bowl but a victory Thanksgiving day would turn some heads.

The coaching staff had to rally the troops after losing starting signal caller Trevor Knight for the remainder of the season.

All Purpose back Christian Kirk is one of the most dangerous players in the nation with the football in his hands.

The Aggies defense is much improved thanks to defensive end Myles Garrett. The key to a Texas A&M victory is to score points on offense, get the LSU defense tired.

The Texas A&M Aggies are out of contention for the SEC Title.
