Written and authored by National Football League Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Football Predictions are tops in the industry and will continue through the Super Bowl Game in February of 2018.

This Sports Handicapper believes the 2016 Los Angeles Rams woes stemmed from the move from the St.Louis to the “GLITZ” of Southern California.

The main casualty of the losing season was former head coach Jeff Fisher, who is a native of the Los Angeles area.

Owner Stan Stan Kroenke and General Manager Les Snead parted ways with Fisher towards the end of the 2016 season.

The Los Angeles Rams went 1-6-1 in front of the home crowd last season, and it was enough to fire Fisher and his staff.

Enter former Washington offensive coordinator and thirty-one-year-old Sean McVay, who is the youngest head coach in the National Football League. McVay has blood lines in the league as Grandfather John, is a former San Francisco 49ers General Manager.

The Los Angeles Rams have a few more season’s at the Coliseum before moving to their brand new state of the art facility on the grounds of the old Hollywood Park.

The 2017-18 Los Angeles Rams offense must improve, the unit ranked last in the League in nearly every statistical category.

Matt LaFleur takes over as the coordinator; he was the Redskins quarterback coach in 2015-16. McVay is giving the guy a chance.

However, the head coach will be hands on with the offense.

2016 Number-one overall draft pick Jared Goff should be ready to run the offense this season. The former University of California signal caller looked like a deer caught in headlights in his rookie season.

It’s time Goff to show he is on the same level as the number two overall selection Carson Wentz of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Star Running Back Todd Gurley, yards rushing must get back to being the player he was as a rookie in 2015.

Punt returner/wideout Tavon Austin must bring more consistency to the position.

Long-time Cincinnati Bengals star Andrew Whitworth brings a veteran presence to the offensive line.

The key to success in 2017 for the Rams offense is to make plays in both the passing and running game. Goff must grasp the offense and make it happen.

Wade Phillips takes over on the defensive side of the football and his talent to work with along the front.

Los Angeles has one of the best defenses in the National Football League. They ranked ninth overall, allowing just 337.0 yards per contest in 2016.

Aaron Donald, Michael Brockers, and Robert Quinn form one of the best trios in the League. Donald is on the rise and is turning into a “STAR.” Brockers is a run stopper but has not played up to expectations, and Quinn is a sack artist.

Alec Ogletree calls the signals from his middle linebacker position and will thrive in Wade Phillips system.

Former Denver Broncos special teams star Kayvon Webster will get a chance to start opposite of Trumaine Johnson at cornerback.

Maurice Alexander is a quality safety, and Lamarcus Joyner is a throwback football players.

The key to success for the Rams defense is to get to opposing quarterback; the unit is the strength of the team.
