The Best College Football Betting Picks, and Odds: 2017 Clemson Tigers Forecast.

Written and authored by College Football Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

NCAA Football ATS Predictions are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Clemson Tigers Football program will be back in the hunt for another BCS Title in the 2017-18 season.

Head Coach Dabo Swinney enters his ninth season on the sidelines at the South Carolina Institute of higher learning. The former Alabama Crimson Tide walk on student-athlete understands what it takes to win.

Swinney is doing it his way with a “FOLKSY” environment that includes a lot of humility and caring.

Last season is history and the Tigers coaching staff insists they are not defending BCS Champions, but they are chasing another title.

The out of conference schedule is favorable for the Clemson Tigers, but a home September matchup against Auburn will be crucial as far as BCS ramifications are concerned.

Atlantic Coast Conference road trips to Louisville and Virginia Tech will be tough. Clemson gets ACC Atlantic division favorites get Florida State in front of the home crowd.

The 2017 Clemson offense must replace two top fifteen NFL Draft Picks. Quarterback Kelly Bryant is in competition with two underclassmen to replace “ICON” Deshaun Watson.

The Clemson offense was one of the best in College Football last season, averaging (39.2) points per game. Watson and the passing game ranked seventh in the BCS.

Offensive Coordinator Tony L. Elliott loses wideout Mike Williams, tight end Jordan Leggett, and running back Wayne Gallman. Junior Running Back C.J. Fuller is solid and should be a 1,000 yards rusher.

Receivers Deon Cain and former walk on Hunter Renfrow must step up their play and help the young signal callers. Junior Ray-Ray McCloud could be the “X-FACTOR” on offense for Clemson.

Elliott and the rest of the offensive coaches have the luxury of four returning starters on the offensive line, including Mitch Hyatt.

The keys to success for the 2017 Clemson Tigers offense is how quick the quarterback can perfect the system. The Clemson Tigers will make a run for the 2017 ACC Title with enthusiasm making and positive thinking being the primary motivator.

The Clemson Tigers defense allowed opponents (311.5) per game last season, eighth in the nation.

Defensive Coordinator Brent Venables is one of the best minds in the country. Seven starters return from last years BCS title unit. Defensive Tackles Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence will dominate in the trenches. Wilkins could easily be the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.

Defensive End Clelin Ferrell is one of the best pass rushers in the Atlantic Coast Conference and will put pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Defensive leader and linebacker Ben Boulware has moved on, but Kendall Joseph and Dorian O’Danie have more size and speed.

However, they must find a way to become more instinctive. The front seven of the Clemson Tigers is the strength of the defense.

Cornerback Ryan Carter and safety Van Smith are the leaders of a young and inexperienced secondary.

Clemson has one of the best defensive lines in College Football and will make up for deficiencies at other positions.

Bovada.Lv lists the Clemson Tigers at +300 to win the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship.

The Best NCAA Football Betting Picks, and Odds: 2017 Pittsburgh Panthers Preview.

Written and authored by Football Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

College Football ATS Predictions are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Pitt Panthers Football program made the right decision two years ago by hiring Pat Narduzzi.

The fans in football crazed Western Pennsylvania is not only excited about the NFL Steelers, but the Panthers are also on the rise.

Narduzzi spent eight years at Michigan State as the defensive coordinator and had the unit at the top of the Big Ten in a lot of categories.

Pittsburgh beat Big Ten Champions Penn State at home and BCS Champions Clemson on the road in 2016. The Panther coaching staff is working on their second offensive coordinator in as many years.

It maybe a couple of years before the Panthers has the talent to compete with Clemson and Florida State, but it won’t be too long.

Narduzzi is in the process of creating relationships with high school coaches in talent rich Western Pennsylvania.

Pittsburgh avoids the Big Three in the Atlantic Coast Conference in the 2017 season with Clemson, Florida State, and Louisville off of the schedule.

An out of conference trip to “HAPPY VALLEY” to take on Penn State will be tough. The ACC schedule is favorable.

First year offensive coordinator Shawn Watson comes over from Indiana but will not have the services of NFL draftees quarterback Nathan Peterman and running back James Conner.

Pittsburgh ranked tenth in the FBS, scoring an average of forty points per game. University of Southern California transfer Max Browne should be the starter under center this season.

Junior Running Back Qadree Ollison is just as talented as Conner and should gain the respect of opponents immediately.

Wideouts Jester Weah (870) receiving yards last season and Quadree Henderson are two of the best in the conference and provide Browne with excellent targets.

As usual, the Pittsburgh Panthers offensive line will have potential. Two All Conference selections are gone, but three veterans return.

The City of Pittsburgh provides the College Football landscape with athletic offensive lineman every year, and 2017 will be no different.

Narduzzi and the coaching staff must have the Panthers offense ready to duplicate the success of 2016.

Browne has a strong arm and should be just as good of a fit a Peterman.

The 2017 Pittsburgh Panthers defense will finally take the identity of their head coach.

The Pittsburgh Panthers struggles in 2016 was evident in every area except rushing, the defensive line ranked 16th nationally allowing just 119.6 yards per game.

Defensive Tackles Keyshon Camp and Kam Carter are the early favorites to plug the middle in the trenches.

University of Tennessee transfer Defensive end Dewayne Hendrix expects to become an elite pass rusher.

Defensive Coordinator Josh Conklin will get plenty of feedback from Narduzzi.

Sophomore safety Jordan Whitehead is an excellent young player who has ball skills and will lay the wood on opposing ball carriers.

The Panthers secondary ranked 127th in the FBS, allowing opponents (333.2) yards per game through the air last season.

The (35.2) points per contest also ranked near the bottom of College Football. It can’t happen again in the 2017 season if the program is going make a leap and become one of the elite teams in Atlantic Coast Conference action.

Bovada.Lv lists the Pittsburgh Panthers at +5,000 to win the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Title.

2017 NCAA Football Expert Predictions, and Odds: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Forecast.

Written and authored by Football Expert Analyst Al Presto. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

NCAA Football Point Spread Picks is again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team did a great job of coming off of one of its worst seasons under the leadership of Paul Johnson last season.

Georgia Tech was 3-9 in 2015 but won nine games last season, including a convincing Bowl victory over Kentucky. With seventeen starters returning in 2017 expectations are high in Atlanta, and Johnson accepts the challenge.

Johnson is seeking his fifth Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal, division title and believes he has everything in place to compete with Virginia Tech and preseason favorites Miami.

Georgia Tech opens the 2017 season at the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta vs. Tennessee.

The “RAMBLIN WRECK” gets Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Pittsburgh at home. However, road trips to Miami and Clemson could prove to be tough, but they have plenty of experience on both offense and defense.

The 2017 Georgia Tech offense will be without longtime starter Justin Thomas under center.

Matthew Jordan seems to be a perfect fit for the triple option and all indications are he will be the quarterback in 2017. The Junior has appeared in just fourteen games in his time at Georgia Tech mostly in mop up duty.

TaQuon Marshall will also have a shot at the starting quarterback job. Running Back, Dedrick Mills (771) yards last season leads a talented group at the position.

As usual, the Georgia Tech running attack is one of the most potent in the nation, (258.1) yards per game last season ninth in the FBS.

Junior Clinton Lynch will also contribute at the running back position.

A veteran offensive line led by senior offensive tackle Andrew Marshall will keep the Georgia Tech offense on the field for extended amounts of time, and they will chew up plenty of time on the clock.

Wideouts Brad Stewart and Ricky Jeune have the speed to go deep against athletes in opposing secondaries which will be needed against Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Miami.

The key to success for the Georgia Tech offense is for a quarterback to emerge and produce.

The Georgia Tech defense allowed opponents twenty-four and a half points per game last season, thirty-ninth in the FBS.

The fifth year defensive coordinator Ted Roof may have his best unit in his tenure with eight starters returning.

Senior Ends Antonio Simmons and KeShun Freeman must be more disruptive at the point of attack and also put pressure on the opposing quarterback.

Linebacker Brant Mitchell has the size and speed to play at the next level but becomes better at sniffing out plays to become great.

The Georgia Tech secondary is the strength of the defense. In 2016 they allowed opponents (229.4) yards per contest, sixty-eight nationally.

The numbers should improve in 2017 with all four starters returning, and there is also depth at both cornerback and safety.

Georgia Tech won;t have to face NFL draftees Mitch Trubisky of North Carolina, DeShaun Watson of Clemson, Nathan Peterman of Pittsburgh, or Brad Kayaa of Miami. Georgia Tech will be solid at every level on defense in 2017.

Bovada.Lv lists the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at +3,300 to win the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Crown.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

Free Betting Odds Prediction: The 2017 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will go 8-4 and finish third the American Athletic Conference Coastal, Division.

The Best 2017 College Football Predictions, and Odds: North Carolina Tar Heels Preview.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

NCAA Football ATS Expert Picks are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Championship game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the North Carolina Tar Heels football program is trying to get back to the success they had under Mack Brown and Butch Davis.

Larry Fedora enters his sixth season on the sidelines a the basketball-crazed Institute without the luxury of a starting quarterback and players at the skill positions.

North Carolina went 8-5 in 2016 and upset Florida State and Miami on the road. The 2016 season ended with a Bowl loss to Stanford. They lost to Georgia, Duke, and North Carolina State by a total of seventeen points.

North Carolina opens up the 2017 season at home against California a week later Louisville will visit Kenan Stadium.

Road trips to Coastal Division foes Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Pittsburgh could determine the success of the team in 2017.

However, Florida State and Clemson are not on the regular season schedule this season.

The 2017 North Carolina offense lost NFL second overall draft pick Mitchell Trubisky (3,748) passing yards last season.

The unit must also replace Running Back Elijah Hood (858) rushing yards and T.J. Logan (12) touchdowns. Wideout Ryan Switzer (1,112) receiving yards in now a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Bug Howard and Mack Hollins are also no longer available.

Co Offensive Coordinators Gunter Brewer and Chris Kapolovic have their work cut out entering fall camp.

Fedora insists there will be an open quarterback competition with the starter being named before the season opener.

However, there is still a chance they could go with a dual system. The North Carolina offense lost a lot of firepower, but impact transfers could make an immediate difference on the offensive side of the football.

Senior tackle Bentley Spain will anchor an offensive line which returns two other starters from last season.

The key to success for the North Carolina offense is how well the new signal caller performs.

The past two season they have had Marquise Williams and Trubisky under center.

The first year defensive coordinator John Papuchis has his work cut out, especially up front where they ranked 109th in the FBS allowing a little over 227 yards per game rushing.

Defensive Tackle Aaron Crawford has a year of experience under his belt. Ends Malik Carney and Dajaun Drennon did a good job putting pressure on the opposing quarterbacks but did little against the run.

Papuchis, a former linebacker coach, will take more chances with linebackers Cole Holcomb and Andre Smith who were two of the team’s leading tacklers last season.

Senior cornerback M.J. Stewart has the talent to play at the next level and should be one of the best in the Atlantic Coast Conference this season.

Safety Donnie Miles can hit like a linebacker.

Papuchis replaced Gene Chizik who resigned over the winter must have his players in position to make plays.

Bovada.Lv lists the North Carolina Tar Heels at +2,500 to win the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

Free NCAA Football Picks, and Odds: 2017 Baylor Bears Forecast.

Written and authored by College Football Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

NCAA Football Point Spread Predictions are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Baylor University Football program got the right mindset with the hiring of former Temple head coach Matt Rhule to run their program.

Art Briles took the Baylor Bears to new heights but it came with a price, and he paid the price.

Baylor went 7-6 last season with an impressive bowl victory over Boise State and expectations are to get back to winning at least ten games.

The new McLane Stadium opened in 2014, and the culture in Waco is up in the air. Ruhle and his new staff want to restore order; it had plenty of scandals in the Briles era where coaches or players were held accountable for their actions.

There is plenty of talent to go around in the “LONE STAR STATE, ” and Ruhle knows how to tap into the pool.

The Bears began the 2016 season with a 6-0 start, but after the loss to Texas the wheels fell off.

Rhule will bring a strong sense of defense to compete and dominate with high powered Big Twelve offenses.

Baylor has a soft out of conference schedule with Liberty, Texas San Antonio, and Duke to open the season.

Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Texas visit Waco this season. Road trips to Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and TCU could determine what direction the program is going.

The 2017 Baylor Bears offense will be led by Sophomore signal caller Zach Smith.

Co Offensive Coordinators Glenn Thomas and Jeff Nixon will use more of a pro style offense, not the fun and gun of the Briles era. Smith threw for 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions in four late season starts in 2016.

Running Backs Terrence Williams (1,048) rushing yards and JaMycal Hasty (623) will take over for Shock Linwood. The tandem is one of the best in the Big Twelve Conference.

Wide Receiver Pooh Stricklin averaged 17.4 yards per catch last season returns with four other talented wideouts. They must replace KD Cannon and Ishmael Zamora who left early for the NFL.

Three starters including guard Ishmael Wilson returns on the offensive line. Baylor fans must get used to the new style of offense under the Rhule regime.

However, the coaching staff believes there is enough talent on offense to produce points at a high level.

The Baylor Bears defense has one of the best minds in College Football running the show. Phil Snow decided to join Rhule in Waco, and his presence will be felt immediately.

Senior linebacker Taylor Young is the leader of the unit, his 93 tackles, and 4 and a half quarterback sacks last year led the team.

Seven starters from the 2016 season must be replaced. Defensive End K.J. Smith showed signs of brilliance near the end last season and showed he could dominate in spring football.

Three sophomores including Jameson Houston will lead a talented secondary.

Snow understands what the climate is in the Big Twelve and believes his unit can defend offensive minds Lincoln Riley of Oklahoma, Tom Herman of Texas, Kliff Kingsbury, Texas Tech just to name a few.

Ruhle and Snow did a great job at Temple with limited talent on defense. There is no telling how great they can be at Baylor.

Bovada.Lv lists the Baylor Bears at +3,300 to win the 2017 Big Twelve Conference Championship.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

College Football Expert Picks, and Odds: 2017 Syracuse Orange Forecast.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Expert Analyst AL Presto. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Football ATS Predictions is again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Syracuse Orange Football program is on the rise on the national stage as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The second year Head Coach Dino Babers has the attention of fans and opposing teams with his energy and offensive mindset.

Syracuse went 4-8 in 2016, losing their last four after back to back home victories over Virginia Tech and Boston College. Consistent football will be the “MOTTO” for Syracuse in the 2017 season.

The “CUSE” missed the postseason for the third consecutive season, and it could be four in a row with a rugged schedule.

Syracuse opens the 2017 season with three straight home games against Central Connecticut, Middle Tennessee, and Central Michigan. All three are winnable, but they could be underdogs vs. MTSU and CMU.

Road Trips to LSU, Louisville, Miami, Florida, and Florida State are going to be tough.

Pittsburgh, Clemson, Wake Forest, and Boston College of the Atlantic Coast Conference visit the Carrier Dome in 2017.

Offensive Coordinators Sean Lewis and Mike Lynch will have one of the best quarterbacks no one has heard.

Junior signal caller Eric Dungey (2,679) passing yards last season will be under center again. Dungy is a dual threat with a unique skill set that fits the systems like a glove.

The Syracuse Orange offense put up an average of 321.2yards per game through the air last season, eleventh in the FBS. The number should increase in 2017 with the return of wideouts Ervin Phillips, Steve Ishmael, and Jamal Custis.

The loss of Amba Etta-Tawo should not hurt the passing attack.

Running Back Dontae Strickland (566) rushing yards is the primary weapon in the rushing attack.

The offensive line returns plenty of talent, four starters from the 2016 unit returns and health is a major concern as there is not a lot on the second unit.

A key to success for the Orange offense is how much Dungy has mastered the playbook, making correct reads in the passing game.

The 2017 Syracuse defense must get better at every level if they are going to compete with the elite in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Defensive Coordinator Brian Ward has a great group of linebackers with Jonathan Thomas, Parris Bennett, and Zaire Franklin.

Things can’t go anywhere, but up for the Syracuse defense, the ranked near the bottom of the FBS in nearly every category. The unit gave up seventy-six points to Pittsburgh in the season finale.

Defensive Tackle Chris Slayton is the only dominant player on the front four. The coaching staff will look for help from a few Freshman recruits which could pay dividends as the season progresses.

Three Junior College transfers will help the secondary, a unit which got torched way too much last season.

Syracuse must get off of the field on third downs and be mindful of tackling lanes. Bovada.Lv list Syracuse at +20,000 to win the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

Free Betting Odds Prediction: The 2017 Syracuse Orange will go 5-7 and finish fourth in the ACC Atlantic, Division.

The Best College Football Predictions, and Odds: 2017 Boston College Eagles Forecast.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Expert Analyst Bobby Wallace. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Weekly NCAA Football Point Spread Picks is again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper understands the climate in the Atlantic Coast Conference better than anyone in the landscape.

Head Coach Steve Addazio enters his fifth season in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and fans are becoming weary of the three yards and a cloud of dust philosophy.

Boston College won seven games last season but just 2-6 against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents. They did win their final three contests of the 2016 season against Connecticut, Wake Forest, and a Quick Lane Bowl victory over Maryland.

The Eagles struggled mightily vs. The likes of Florida State, Clemson, Louisville and Virginia Tech, scoring a combined twenty-four points.

Boston College opens the 2017 season at Northern Illinois before returning home to take on ACC foe Wake Forest and Notre Dame who is Independent in Football.

Conference road trips to Clemson, Louisville, and Syracuse are going to be tough. The Eagles get ACC foes Florida State and Virginia Tech at Alumni stadium in 2017.

The Boston College offense was 127th in the nation last season, averaging just 292.8 yards per game. Second-year offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler promises a new up-tempo style.

Junior signal caller Darius Wade finally gets his chance after playing second fiddle to Patrick Towles. Wade looked to be a perfect fit for the new style of the game and did an adequate job in the spring.

Running Back Jon Hilliman returns after rushing for 542 yards in 2016, Davon Jones is capable of breaking of making big plays in the running attack. Loeffler hopes the offensive outburst in the bowl game will give the unit confidence moving forward into the 2017 season.

Plenty of talent at the receiver position including tight end Tommy Sweeney a target in short to intermediate passing game.

Wideout Michael Walker (420) yards in 2016 and Jeff Smith also return to the starting lineup.

However the offensive line must perform better in pass blocking, that is the key to success for the Eagles to soar on offense.

The 2017 Boston College defense takes on the identity of their head coach. Boston College was ninth in the FBS last season allowing just (314.2) yards per contest.

The defensive line is one of the best in the ACC if not the entire country. Defensive End Harold Landry expects to play at the next level with Zach Allen, and Ray Smith is joining him to anchor the d-line.

The unit allowed opposing offenses just (108.6) yards on the ground in 2016. Linebackers Connor Strachan and Ty Schwab are capable of making plays from sideline to sideline.

Three starters from last season return to the secondary, however, they must do a better job defending the pass.

The key to success for the Eagle defense is to get off of the field on third downs and the secondary must perform at a high level.

Bovada.Lv lists the Boston College Eagles at +20,000 to win the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Title.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.
