Written and authored by College Football Expert Analyst Al Presto. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.NCAA Football Predictions are again winning at a remarkable rate and will continue to the BCS Title game in January 2017.

The (1-2) Kansas Jayhawks of the Big-Twelve Conference will be in the “LONE STAR STATE” for week five of the 2016-17 College Football season. Kansas will play the (2-1) Texas Tech Red Raiders also of the Big-12 in 2016 NCAA Football action.

Game time is at 8:30 PM EST on the FS-1 Television Network. The teams will play at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.

The game is on Thursday, September 29th, 2016. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Kansas Jayhawks football program is one of the most unproductive in the FBS landscape.

The University has the resources to compete with the powerhouse basketball team. The Texas Tech Red Raiders have a prolific offense and can put up points in a hurry.

Texas Tech defense is a liability but hat else can you expect from a Kliff Kingsbury team.

The Opening Betting Odds has the Texas Tech Red Raiders as a Twenty-Eight and a Half Point Home Favorite Against The Spread.

The Betting Odds total is 80 Points for Thursday’s game.

The 2016-17 Kansas Jayhawks have dropped their last two College Football contests.

Kansas lost to Memphis on the road and the week before they got embarrassed by Ohio University in front of the home crowd.

Head Coach David Beaty is in his second season on the sidelines at the basketball-crazed institute. The last time Kansas beat Texas Tech was in the 2001 season.

The Jayhawks have some talent on offense, which is led by quarterback Montell Cozart. The Kansas City, Missouri native threw for just 87-yards last Saturday and had two interceptions.

Wideout Steven Sims is a weapon in the passing game. Running backs Ke’aun Kinner and Khalil Herbert can take it the distance at any time.

The Jayhawks defense will have it’s trouble against a highly productive Texas Tech offense. The KU defense has given up an average of 40-points per contest their last two football games.

Bovada Lv. List the Kansas Jayhawks at +25,000 to win the 2016-17 Big-Twelve Conference Championship.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders took care of Louisiana Tech in their last game nearly two weeks ago in a high scoring affair.

Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury is taking over where Mike Leach left off with the “AIR RAID” offense.

Starting quarterback Pat Mahomes can throw the football with precision from anywhere on the field. The Red Raiders offense is averaging over 60-points per contest through three games this season’s.

Texas Tech has plenty of talent at the skill positions. Sophomore wideout Jonathan Giles is Mahomes first option in the passing game.

Texas Tech also has two capable running backs to offset the passing attack. The Texas Tech defense is giving up too many points to the opposition.

The Red Raiders defense is giving up 531.3 yards per contest and 206.7 on the ground.

Texas Tech has too much for Kansas the only question is how much will they score.

Bovada Lv. List the Texas Tech Red Raiders at +2,000 to win the 2016-17 Big-12 Conference Title.

2016-17 College Football Predictions, and Odds: Texas Longhorns Forecast.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Expert Analyst Charlie Red McDougall. Charliessports.com produces it for Football news and notes. Football Betting Picks will make clients huge profits through the 2016-17 season.

It could be a do or die for University of Texas head football coach Charlie Strong. The former Louisville Cardinals general enters his third season on the sidelines in Austin.

The coaching staff did their best in bringing in some blue chip prep stars in the “LONE STAR STATE”.

Texas is a hotbed for talent nationwide, and the Longhorns usually get their choice of top players.

However, TCU, Oklahoma, and Baylor have risen to the level of the Longhorns. No other athletic department in the nation pours more into their football program than boosters and alumni at the University of Texas.

The Longhorns open the 2016 season at home against Notre Dame. Texas begins the month of October with Conference foes Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

Offensive Coordinator Sterlin Gilbert was hired to get the offense on course. The Texas offense was among the worst in the FBS last season, and it has been that way since the Strong tenure.

The Longhorns offense put up an average of 145.o yards per contest throwing the football, 118th in the nation.

There is too much talent for the Texas offense to rank 93rd nationwide. Gilbert is a disciple of former Baylor head coach Art Briles.

Freshman signal-caller Shane Buechele will compete for the starting quarterback job. Jerrod Heard and Tyrone Swoopes are also in the mix for the job.

Wide Receiver John Burt (457) yards last season is the top returning pass catcher. D’Onta Foreman is a massive running back who can catch passes out of the backfield.

Bovada list the 2016-17 West Virginia Mountaineers at +650 to win the Big Twelve Championship.

The 2016-17 Texas Longhorns defense was just a pathetic as the offense in 2016 ranking 107th, allowing opponents 457.0 yards per contest.

Texas landed five top defensive tackles in the 2016 recruiting class. The opposition rushed for nearly 220.0 yards per game last season; the number must drop.

Strong insists the defensive line is a major concern. Young freshman must step in immediately and contribute in the trenches.

Sophomore linebacker Malik Jefferson is a potential All-American at the linebacker position.

Defensive Ends Charles Omenihu and Breckyn Hager will not only help against the run but must provide a pass rush.

The Texas Longhorns will again have a more than healthy secondary. Sophomore cornerbacks Davante Davis and Holton have a year of experience under their belts.

Safety DeShon Elliott is another second-year player who will contribute.

Winning. NCAA Football News and Notes.

The Opening Betting Line has Atlanta as a three-point Road Underdog Against The Spread. The Betting Odds Total is 203′-points for Thursday’s game.

The Atlanta Hawks are 2-2 their last four straight up. The Hawks finished their West Coast trip with an 119-105 at Denver on January 25th. Atlanta is hosting the Los Angeles Clippers on the 27th of this month and will travel to Indianapolis at the end of the game. The Hawks are on top in the Southeast, two games in front of second-place Miami. Sources in the “ATL” are downgrading the rumors that the team is trying to move Al Horford. The former Florida Gators star wants maximum money at the end of his contract. More than a few teams have inquired about obtaining Jeff Teague. Head Coach Mike Budenholzer team ranks eighth in the league offensively and ninth on the defensive end of the court. Power Forward Paul Millsap leads the team in points, rebounds, and steals. The organization is entertaining offers but have not made any plan for a trade.

The 2016 Indiana Pacers have lost four of five both straight up and Against The Point Spread. Indiana lost at home to the Los Angeles Clippers on January 26th. Indiana is fourth in the Central, nine games out of the top spot. Wearing their “HICKORY” uniforms to spark some energy didn’t work against the Clippers. Los Angeles got the victory without star Blake Griffin. Pacers Guard George Hill didn’t have an answer for Chris Paul, who scored twenty-six points. Head Coach Frank Vogels has an average team without Roy Hibbert and David West. Both left for other cities via free agency. The key to a Pacers win is to play tight defense and limit Atlanta on fast breaks.

The Betting Odds Under The Total Are 5-1 Atlanta last six overall.

Indiana is 0-5 their last five on Thursday’s.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Sacramento Kings are on the right track in George Karl second season on the bench as the head coach. The Milwaukee Bucks are trying to make their second consecutive playoff appearance. The Opening betting line has Sacramento as a three and a half-point Road Underdog Against The Spread. The Betting Odds total is 205-points for Wednesday’s game.

The 2015-16 Sacramento Kings lost at Charlotte in their last game on November 23rd. Sacramento had a double-digit lead late in the fourth quarter before letting the game go into overtime. The Forward combination of DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay accounted for fifty-eight points. Cousins led the way with 30-points, and Gay scored twenty-eight. Cousins is the leader in scoring with 27.9 ppg, 11.2 rebounds per game and one and a half shot blocks. Sacramento is still a year away from taking a noticeable leap and becoming a contender in the West. Management will reap rewards if the retain the current roster with Karl coaching the squad. The key to a Sacramento win Wednesday is to get up and down the court at a fast pace. The Kings must learn how to close out games. Cousins in nearly unguardable with his ability to play on the perimeter.

The Milwaukee Bucks are off to a slow start in the first month of the season. What’s new! Milwaukee started the same way last season and ended up in the postseason. Milwaukee broke a three-game losing streak with a 109-88 home win over Detroit on November 23rd. The Bucks have swayed away from head coach Jason Kidd philosophy of playing tight defense, and it’s showing with their record. Milwaukee is a much better team at home than they are on the road. The team has won their last four in the largest city in “CHEESEHEAD LAND”. Small Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the team with 17.5 ppg and point guard Michael Carter-Williams is the leader in steals and assists. Warmack and second-year pro-Taylor Lewan can take theTitans to new heights. The offensive line under head coach Ken Whisenhunt is a group that must protect their franchise quarterback in the opener. Running backs Bishop Sankey and Dexter McCluster must help move the chains. Mariota has a strong cast of wideouts including Kendall Wright, Justin Hunter and rookie Dorial Green-Beckham. Look for newly acquired tight end Anthony Fasano to be the favorite target on Sunday. The Tennessee defense picked up a pass rusher in free agency with Brian Orakpo. 2015 NCAA Football Point Spread Picks: Oklahoma State Cowboys at Central Michigan Chippewas.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Expert Analyst Bobby Wallace. Charliessports.com produces it for College Football news and notes.

The (0-0) Oklahoma State Cowboys of the Big-Twelve Conferences will take the trip to the “WOLVERINE STATE” for their 2015 season opener. Oklahoma State will take on the (0-0) Central Michigan Chippewas of the Mid-American Conference West Division in College Football action. The games take place at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Thursday’s contest will be the 57th meeting between the teams on the gridiron. The Cowboys seem more interested talking about their hotel accommodations while in Mt.Pleasant. The Hotel Doherty has a haunted past with notorious mafia murders. Is this a reason for concern for “OK STATE”. Central Michigan opens the season with a new head coach and some talent. The opening betting line has Central Michigan as a twenty-four and a half point Home Underdog Against The Spread. The betting odds total is 58′-points for Thursday’s game. Read more on our Charlotte at Georgia State week-one write-up.

The 2015 Oklahoma State Cowboys football team expects to compete with TCU and Baylor for the Big-Twelve Conference title. Head Coach Mike Gundy is going with sophomore Mason Rudolph as the starting quarterback. Cowboys fans didn’t know what to expect from week to week last season. The Cowboys lost five in a row, before winning the “BEDLAM” game at the University of Oklahoma. The Cowboys went on the defeat the Washington Huskies in the Cactus Bowl. There is momentum carrying in this season. There are many in the College Football landscape that believe the Cowboys can become a playoff, team. Gundy has done an admirable job entering his tenth season in Stillwater. As much as Oklahoma State wants to say Thursday’s contest is a give me game the Mid-American Conference can play football with the big boys. Mount Pleasant, Michigan is a college town, a lot like Stillwater, Oklahoma, and a Thursday Night ESPNU contest show the growth the CMU program. The game may not have had the same aura if it was being played on a Saturday, but College Football fans are eager to watch any team on television. The Oklahoma State offense shouldn’t have a problem moving the football, and the talented defense should be able to shutdown CMU.

The Central Michigan Chippewas have a new head, coach. John Bonamego takes over for Dan Enos and has lofty expectations in his initial season. Quarterback Cooper Rush can handle whatever opponents throws his way, but there is a lack of playmakers on offense. The teams success will depend on how well they adjust to the new system. Thursday Night is not a good time to experiment, the Chippewas have to be ready for an all-out war. CMU is clearly not on the same level as Oklahoma State talent wise. The Chippewas must play aggressively on both sides of the football and make plays. Central Michigan goes on the road to face Syracuse and Michigan State of power conferences in two of the next three games. Rush was the number-four passer in the Conference last season and is the key to the team’s success this season. The offensive line must hold up Thursday, the Oklahoma State D-line is already talking about how they will dominate. Central Michigan must take it as a challenge. The home crowd can only do so much, the offense and defense must come into the game with a positive mindset.
