Winning 2017 NFL Point Spread Predictions, and Odds: Cincinnati Bengals Preview.

Written and authored by National Football League Expert Analyst Bobby Wallace. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Weekly NFL ATS Picks is again the best in the industry and will continue through the Super Bowl Game in February of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the window for the Cincinnati Bengals to bring home a Super bowl title in the Marvin Lewis era.

The former architect of the dominant Baltimore defense that led the Ravens to a Superbowl title enters his fourteenth season in “SOUTHWEST OHIO.”

Cincinnati has not gotten past the first round of the postseason in seven appearances, but owner Mike Brown is sticking with Lewis as his man.

Former coordinators Jay Gruden, Hue Jackson, and Mike Zimmer have become head coaches elsewhere, and it’s the losses are starting to rear its ugly head.

Cincinnati finished behind Pittsburgh and Baltimore in the AFC North in 2016. Another 7-9 finish and management will begin to hear rumblings from the loyal fan base.

There is no doubt the Bengals have a prolific offense and can score points, but the question is can the defense hold up with the significant losses.

The 2017 Cincinnati Bengals offense will again have Andy Dalton under center. The former TCU standout passed for 4,206 yards in 2016 but must learn to perform in important football games.

Cincinnati gave Dalton a deep threat by drafting speedy wideout John Ross with the ninth overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

The running game got a boost with Joe Mixon taken in the second round. Both rookies have the talent to make an immediate impact.

Longtime Left Tackle Andrew Whitworth left for the Los Angeles Rams and guard Kevin Zeitler is now a member of the Cleveland Browns. Former first round draft choice Cedric Ogbuehi gets his chance with the departure of Whitworth.

A. J. Green is still one of the best at his position in the league, and the addition of Ross could make the Bengals unstoppable in the passing game.

All purpose running back Giovani Bernard can make things happen out of the backfield in a variety of ways, and Jeremy Hill will tutor Mixon.

The key to success for the Cincinnati offense in 2017 is to avoid turnovers and score early and often.

Defensive Coordinator Paul Guenther and his unit did a good job against the pass, and they only allowed opponents 19.7 points per games in 2016. However, the departures of veterans Karlos Dansby, Ray Maualuga and Domata Peko could hurt with leadership.

Cincinnati has talent in the trenches with Geno Atkins and the anchor. Defensive Ends Carlos Dunlap, Wallace Gilberry, and Michael Johnson. Cincinnati also has a young rookie, Jordan Willis who gives 100% every play.

Outside Linebacker Vontaze Burfict has the potential to become the best in the NFL, more pressure will be on the former Arizona State star to produce at a high level with the loss of Maualuga.

Cincinnati has four first round draft picks at cornerback, and it’s time for them to show their worth. Dre Kirkpatrick did an adequate job last season and 2016 first round draft pick William Jackson III will compete with Darqueze Dennard.

Safety George Iloka  is robust and has the intelligence to make calls in the secondary.

Rookie Kicker Jake Elliott should beat out the competition and become a special teams standout.

Free 2017 NCAA Football Betting Predictions, and Odds: Texas Tech Red Raiders Preview.

Written and authored by College Football Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Football ATS Predictions are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes Texas Tech will still have one of the most prolific offenses in the Big-Twelve, despite losing Pat Mahomes to the NFL.

Kliff Kingsbury enters his fifth season as the head coach at his alma mater and expectation are high.

Texas Tech began the 2016 season with a 3-1 record and score over fifty points in all four games. However, they dropped six of eight to end the campaign and missed out on a bowl appearance for the second time in three years.

Kingsbury is an offensive genius but is devoting more of his time to a defense that could not stop anybody.

Texas Tech opens up 2017 with home games against Eastern Washington and Arizona State. A Road date vs. The Houston Cougars follows in out of Conference action.

Texas Tech has Big Twelve home dates with Oklahoma State, TCU, Iowa State and Kansas State. The Red Raiders travel to Oklahoma and Texas in the 2017 season.

Top Ten 2017 NFL draft choice Patrick Mahomes will be replaced by senior Nic Shimonek.

Former Red Raider wideout and current offensive coordinator Eric Morris has an offensive mind and expects big things from Shimonek.

The 2016 Texas Tech offense put up an average of (566.6) yards per game, 1st in the FBS and the 463.0 yards through the air also led the nation.

Texas Tech scored nearly 44-points per contest, and it was not enough to finish with a winning record. Despite the transfer of leading receiver Jonathan Giles, playmakers Dylan Cantrell, Cameron Batson and Keke Coutee are explosive.

Running Back Deandre Washington is efficient as a runner and as a receiver out of the backfield.

Three starting linemen return, led by two sophomore tackles who are good run blockers and can protect the quarterback in drop back situations.

The key to success for the Red Raiders offense is to be able to stay on the field, giving the defense plenty of time to rest.

The defense has been the Achilles heel at Texas Tech in the Kingsbury era. David Gibbs enters his third season as the coordinator but will get help from the head coach this season.

They need to get better at every level, in 2016 they allowed opponents (554.3) yards of offense per game, 128 nationally. The 43.5 points per contest also ranked 128th in the FBS.

Their best performance last season was holding TCU to twenty-four points in a double overtime victory.

However, there is some talent with young players from last season having a year of experience. Also, transfers are in the mix at various positions.

Joseph Wallace, Broderick Washington and, Kolin Hill will anchor the defensive line.

As expected the secondary has plenty of game changers, the entire state of Texas is full of speed, and Texas Tech has their share of talent at cornerback and safety.

The key to success for the Red Raiders defense is to force turnovers and get off of the field on third down.

The Best College Football Predictions, and Odds: 2017 Boston College Eagles Forecast.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Expert Analyst Bobby Wallace. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Weekly NCAA Football Point Spread Picks is again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Title Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper understands the climate in the Atlantic Coast Conference better than anyone in the landscape.

Head Coach Steve Addazio enters his fifth season in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and fans are becoming weary of the three yards and a cloud of dust philosophy.

Boston College won seven games last season but just 2-6 against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents. They did win their final three contests of the 2016 season against Connecticut, Wake Forest, and a Quick Lane Bowl victory over Maryland.

The Eagles struggled mightily vs. The likes of Florida State, Clemson, Louisville and Virginia Tech, scoring a combined twenty-four points.

Boston College opens the 2017 season at Northern Illinois before returning home to take on ACC foe Wake Forest and Notre Dame who is Independent in Football.

Conference road trips to Clemson, Louisville, and Syracuse are going to be tough. The Eagles get ACC foes Florida State and Virginia Tech at Alumni stadium in 2017.

The Boston College offense was 127th in the nation last season, averaging just 292.8 yards per game. Second-year offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler promises a new up-tempo style.

Junior signal caller Darius Wade finally gets his chance after playing second fiddle to Patrick Towles. Wade looked to be a perfect fit for the new style of the game and did an adequate job in the spring.

Running Back Jon Hilliman returns after rushing for 542 yards in 2016, Davon Jones is capable of breaking of making big plays in the running attack. Loeffler hopes the offensive outburst in the bowl game will give the unit confidence moving forward into the 2017 season.

Plenty of talent at the receiver position including tight end Tommy Sweeney a target in short to intermediate passing game.

Wideout Michael Walker (420) yards in 2016 and Jeff Smith also return to the starting lineup.

However the offensive line must perform better in pass blocking, that is the key to success for the Eagles to soar on offense.

The 2017 Boston College defense takes on the identity of their head coach. Boston College was ninth in the FBS last season allowing just (314.2) yards per contest.

The defensive line is one of the best in the ACC if not the entire country. Defensive End Harold Landry expects to play at the next level with Zach Allen, and Ray Smith is joining him to anchor the d-line.

The unit allowed opposing offenses just (108.6) yards on the ground in 2016. Linebackers Connor Strachan and Ty Schwab are capable of making plays from sideline to sideline.

Three starters from last season return to the secondary, however, they must do a better job defending the pass.

The key to success for the Eagle defense is to get off of the field on third downs and the secondary must perform at a high level.

Bovada.Lv lists the Boston College Eagles at +20,000 to win the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Title.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

Free 2017-18 NFL Picks, and Odds: Washington Redskins Forecast.

Written and authored by National Football League Analyst Charlie Red McDougall. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

NFL Predictions is again the best in the industry and will continue through the Super Bowl Game in February of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder is tired of looking for instant gratification as a winning formula in the National Football League.

Fans in the “BELTWAY” want to relive the 1980’s, and 90’s when Jack Kent Cooke and Joe Gibbs had the franchise at the top of the NFL stature.

Jay Gruden enters his fourth season as the head coach in the “NATION’S CAPITAL” and hopes were high as the Redskins made the 2015 postseason.

President Bruce Allen understands the dynamics in the NFL and is optimistic about the upcoming season.

Washington plays in one of the most competitive divisions in the National Football Conference. Along with a loyal and fanatic fan base winning is the only option.

Washington has been indecisive about signing their quarterback to a long term contract. We will see how good he is without his two playmakers who have moved on to other teams.

The Washington Redskins offense is under the leadership of first-year coordinator Matt Cavanaugh. The former University of Pittsburgh standout has been a fixture in the NFL for a long time.

Kirk Cousins (4,917) passing yards in 2016 is back under center. Washington had one of the most prolific offenses in all football last season; they ranked third in overall offense and second in the passing game with an average of 297.4 yards per game.

However, the loss starting wideouts DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garçon will hurt the passing attack.

Return Specialist Jamison Crowder, former first round draft choice Josh Doctson, and newly acquired Terrelle Pryor must step up.

Jordan Reed is emerging as one of the best tight ends in the National Football League.

Former Oklahoma Sooners standout Samaje Perine can become a star at the running back position.

Tackles Trent Williams and Morgan Moses will open holes in the running game and protect Cousins on throwing situations.

The Redskins running attack must keep the chains moving and keep the pressure off of Cousins and his new crew of receivers.

The 2017 Washington Redskins defense allowed (377.9) yards per game last season, 28th in the league.

The Redskins defense got gashed at every level last season. Making matter worse is defensive ends Chris Baker and Ricky Jean-Francois are no longer with the team.

Former Outside Linebackers coach Greg Manusky is the new defensive coordinator. 2017 first round draft choice Jonathan Allen can make an immediate impact, and nose tackle Phil Taylor can plug holes in the trenches.

Ryan Kerrigan and Mason Foster lead a young group of linebackers, a unit that must play better against the pass.

2016 Prize Free Agent Josh Norman can play man to man with the best wideouts in the league.

Safeties Su’a Cravens and D. J. Swearinger are aggressive players with natural instincts.

The key to success for the Washington defense is to get constant pressure on the quarterback.

Bovada.Lv lists the Washington Redskins at +2,200 to win the 2017-18 NFC Title.

Winning, NFL Betting News, and Notes.

Winning College Football Predictions, and Odds: 2017 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Preview.

Written and authored by NCAA Football Analyst Bobby Wallace. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Football ATS Picks are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Championship Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper believes the University of Hawaii football program is in good hands with second-year head coach Nick Rolovich.

The longtime University of Nevada offensive coordinator brings a new energy to the Rainbow Warriors and fans are excited again.

Hawaii won the finals three games of the 2016 season, including a 52-35 Aloha Bowl victory over Middle Tennessee in front of the home crowd.

Things didn’t start out well last season with losses to Cal and Michigan, giving up one hundred and fourteen points. Hawaii finished second in the Mountain West Conference, West division going 4-4.

Hawaii begins the season with a cross country trip to take of UMass on August 26th. The team will entertain Western Carolina before returning to the mainland to play UCLA at the Rose Bowl.

Conference home games include San Diego State, San Jose State, Colorado State, and Fresno State. Hawaii ends the regular season with a home game against BYU who does not belong to a conference.

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors offense put up 391.3 points per game last season.

Junior College transfer Dru Brown (2,488) passing yards returns at the quarterback position. Brown got better as the season progressed and in the final two games threw zero interceptions.

The loss of their leading receiver could hurt a bit, but the coaching staff has some young talent in the fold.

Second-year offensive coordinator Brian Smith has four returning on the offensive line including All MWC tackle All-conference tackle Dejon Allen.

The units should be able to block as well as protect Brown in the passing game.

Running Back Diocemy Saint Juste over 1,00 yards rushing last season is one of the best in the Conference and should again surpass the thousand yards mark.

The key to success this season for the Hawaii offense is to pick up where they left off last season. However, they can’t become complacent.

The 2017 Hawaii defense needs work and first-year coordinator Legi Suiaunoa understands his role as he got a promotion within the system.

Last season the Hawaii defense ranked 112th in total yards per game. They also got gashed at the line of scrimmage allowing opponents 234.2 yards per contest on the ground.

The 37.3 points per games also were 113th in the FBS. Three starters return on the defensive line including tackles Penitito Faalologo, and Viane Moala.

Like most defensive lineman at Hawaii, they are huge in stature but are not light on their feet.

End Meffy Koloamatangi can rush the passer; he was honorable mention all conference selection last season. Junior inside linebacker Jahlani Tavai is the best player on the defense.

The secondary must cut down on allowing big plays in 2017. Two safeties return, but cornerback could be a problem.

Hawaii must get off of the field on third down and enable the offense to gash opposing defenses.

Bovada.Lv lists the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at +3,000 to win the 2017 Mountain West Conference Championship.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

New York is just 19-24 away from Yankee Stadium so far this season. Rookie outfielder Aaron Judge is the team leader at the plate in all five broad categories.

Starting Pitchers Luis Severino and Michael Pineda leads the rotation while reliever Aroldis Chapman tops the bullpen.

New York will travel to the “TWIN CITIES” for three and then it’s on to Seattle for four games.

2017 NCAA Football Picks, and Odds: California Golden Bears Forecast.

Written and authored by College Football Analyst Al Presto. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

Weekly NCAA Football Predictions are again the best in the industry and will continue through the BCS Championship Game in January of 2018.

The Best Sports Handicapper understands the culture of the PAC-Twelve Conference better than anyone in the industry.

Former USC and Wisconsin Badgers defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox takes over the reigns at the University of California at Berkeley.

The forty-year-old replaces Sonny Dykes and his air raid offense. Wilcox brings a sense of toughness which is lacking at the University of California.

Cal went 5-7 last season, they put up plenty of points but couldn’t stop anyone. Not much expects to change on the offensive side of the football with talent at the skill positions.

The Golden Bears open the season at the University of North Carolina on September 2nd. Out of Conference home games against Weber State and “OLE MISS” follows in the month of September.

PAC-Twelve North road contests with Oregon and Washington could prove what kind of success the Golden Bears will have in 2017.

The 2017 California Golden Bears offense, led by first-year coordinator Beau Baldwin who comes over from Eastern Washington University.

The former head coach at Eastern Washington has a knack for producing points on offense.

Davis Webb is now in the NFL, Chase Forrest, and Ross Bowers will compete for the starting quarterback job.

They were neck and neck at the end of spring football; fall camp will determine who will get the start in the opener.

California put up an average of (513.2) yards of offense per game in 2016. They ranked fourth in the nation through the air with Webb at the helm.

Seniors Tre Watson and Vic Enwere will split the load at running back position. The offensive line loses three starters who gave the quarterback plenty of time to throw the football last season.

Demetris Robertson and Melquise Stovall replaces early NFL entry, Chad Hansen. California will still produce on offense.

However, the key is how well the offensive line holds up in passing situations.

The California defense ranked among the worst in all of College Football last season allowing opponents (518.3) yards per game.

The unit has been particularly bad against the run giving up nearly two hundred and seventy-five yards per contest. The 42.6 points per game also ranked 125th nationally.

Former Fresno State head coach Tim DeRuyter travel to the “EAST BAY” to become the new defensive coordinator at the University of California. Defensive End James Looney and Linebacker Devante Downs are next level talents.

The Golden Bears will switch to a 3-4 base defense with Downs calling signals at the middle linebacker position.

Two senior return to anchor down the cornerback position.

Sophomore Evan Rambo has an ability at safety; he did an adequate job last season before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.

The key to a successful campaign for the California defense in 2017 is to get off of the field on fourth down and stop the run wit aggressive play up front.

Bovada.Lv lists the California Golden Bears at +8,000 to win the 2017 PAC-Twelve Conference title.

Winning, NCAA Football Betting News, and Notes.

Free Betting Odds Prediction: The 2017 California Golden Bears will go 4-8 and finish fourth in the PAC Twelve North Division.
