  • San Antonio is 2-4 ATS their last six on the road.
  • The OVER is 5-0-1 San Antonio last six when giving up 100 points or more in the game before.

  • The Spurs are 0-6 AGAINST THE POINT SPREAD the last six after scoring more than 125 point their previous contest.

The (11-13) SU/ATS Utah Jazz ended a three-game trip with a 102-100 SU loss to Miami as 4-point road FAVORITES ATS. Utah is last in the competitive Northwest division, five and a half games behind first-place Denver.

Utah will host Houston on December 6th before traveling to the Alamo City to face the Spurs again on the 9th of this month.

  • The UNDER is 10-4 the last fourteen between the teams in Salt Lake City.
  • Over bettors have made profits Utah last six at home.
  • Utah has lost their previous two games ATS at home.
  • The Jazz is 1-8 ATS their last nine vs. Teams with a losing SU road record.

Tuesday’s game is at 9:00 PM EST at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The NBA Television Network will be broadcasting.

The Betting Line has Utah as 8 point home FAVORITES ATS. The TOTAL is 216′ points for Tuesday’s contest.

Gregg Popovich and RC Buford are known to some around the NBA as the most efficient Head Coach and General Manager duo in the NBA, that’s why the Spurs will be relevant in the 2019 playoffs.

San Antonio is tied with Houston for fourth place in the Southwest division with a team that’s still trying to find an identity.

The Spurs one time smothering defense is a work in progress giving up (112.3) points per contest, 22nd in the league. Popovich will also continue to address the (48.1) shooting percentage they allow opponents which ranks 28th league-wide. Center Pau Gasol has been out since late November with a foot injury, and they don’t know when he’ll be back in the lineup. DeRozan (24.3) ppg is the top scorer on an offense that puts up an average of (109.4), 17 in the league. The (38.9%) shooting from beyond the three-point line is the best in the Association.

Power Forward LaMarcus Aldridge grabs a team-best (10.5) rebounds per game on a unit that average (44.0) per game, 18th in the league. With the departure of longtime Tony Parker, San Antonio is looking for Patty Mills or Derrick White to take the lead. DeRozan is a shooting guard but leads the team in assists, Buford could make a trade for an upgrade at the position.

San Antonio must play with consistency at both ends of the floor while Aldridge and Rudy Gay must get physical with Utah in the post.

Bovada.Lv list the San Antonio Spurs win total at 44′ games for 2018-19.

Fans who root for the lone major sports franchise in the Beehive State are a bit shell-shocked through the first quarter of 2018. After taking down Oklahoma City in the playoff, last season expectations for this year were through the roof.

Many NBA Experts believe Utah would challenge Golden State for supremacy. However, it’s been tough going for the Jazz who seem to be average at best so far this season. In an attempt to shake things up they acquired Kyle Korver from Cleveland and are 2-1 since his arrival; Korver played for the Jazz from 2007-10.

Shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (21.4) points per contest lead a Utah offense that ranks 26th in the NBA with (105.7) ppg with a (45.8) shooting percentage from the field. The (32.6%) from three-point territory is also 26th.

What’s baffling is their lack of presence in the post with Rudy Gobert (13.0) rebounds per game and Derrick Favors (7.1) they should be better than their 23rd ranking grabbing boards.

Point Guard Ricky Rubio (6.4) assists per game are growing into a prominent role with the team but can be a defensive liability at times.

Forward Jae Crowder brings a sense of toughness to the roster to a defense that allows (108.0) ppg, sixth in the league. The Jazz must contest the Spurs from the 3-point line, Utah allows (36.5%) from beyond the arc with (47.4%) from the field.

Head Coach Quin Snyder believes Korver brings another shooter to the lineup which they’ll need tonight.

Bovada.Lv list the Utah Jazz win total at 49′ games for 2018-19.

Free Winning NBA Predictions and Odds For Tonight: Indiana Pacers at New Orleans Pelicans.

Written and authored by National Basketball Association Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Basketball Betting news and notes. NBA Premium Picks have been winning at a 73.7% rate and will continue through the 2016 NBA Finals in June 2016. The (20-15) Indiana Pacers of the Eastern Conference Central Division will travel to the “BIG EASY” for an out of Conference matchup. Indiana takes on the (11-23) New Orleans Pelicans of the Western Conference Southwest in 2016 NBA action. The teams will play at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tip-Off time is at 8:00 PM EST. The game is on Friday, January, 8th 2016. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Indiana Pacers are still a formidable opponent in the East. Indiana lost front court players David West and Roy Hibbert in the offseason. New Orleans has taken a few steps backward this season after being the eighth seed in the West in the 2015 playoffs. The organization made a mistake firing head coach Monty Williams. The Opening betting line has New Orleans as a two-point Home Underdog Against The Spread. The Betting Odds Total is 206-points for Friday’s game.

The 2015-16 Indiana Pacers have lost two of their last three away from the “HOOSIER STATE”. Indiana got a 95-86 road win in Orlando in their last game. Indiana is third in the Central Division, five games behind first-place Cleveland. The good news in Indianapolis is swingman Paul George is back to playing at his All-Star status after a gruesome leg injury a couple of summers ago in Las Vegas. The Fresno State Alumni are among the top players in All-Star voting this season. The addition of Monta Ellis gives the Pacers an added scorer with the explosion in the backcourt. Head Coach Frank Vogel is giving his team more freedom on offense. The Pacers are tenth in the league scoring the basketball. Defensively Indiana is still near the top statistically in the NBA. Centers Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill are playing excellent in the post, taking the place of Hibbert. George and Ellis are the team leaders in four of five broad categories. The key to a Pacers win Friday is to balance offense and defense.

The New Orleans Hornets have dropped three of their last four both straight up and Against The Spread. The young Pelicans are last in the Division, eighteen and a half games behind first-place San Antonio. Starting guard Tyreke Evans is back in the lineup after missing a few games with a knee injury. Small forward Quincy Pondexter is still on the mend and has not played this season, but expects to be in the lineup within the next week. Head Coach Alvin Gentry is having his problems getting the right combination of players on the floor. Fans in the “CRESCENT CITY” thought the Pelicans would flourish this season, but it has been tough sledding. All-Star Anthony Davis is the team leader in scoring, rebounds and shot blocks. The organization must do everything possible to keep the “STAR” in a Pelicans uniform. Evans is the leader in assists and steals. The key to a Pelicans win is to play fast, forcing Indiana, to play an uptempo game.

Indiana is 7-0 Against The Point Spread the last seven between the teams.

The Betting odds Under The Total are 4-1 the last five times the teams have played.

BCS Semi Finals Football Point Spread Picks: Oklahoma Sooners vs. Clemson Tigers

Written and authored by College Football Bowl Expert Analyst Al Presto. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes. NCAA Football Predictions have been winning at a 76.2% rate and will continue to the 2016 BCS Title game in January 2016. The (11-1) and third-ranked Oklahoma Sooners of the Big-Twelve Conference will be in “SOUTH BEACH” for their Capital One Orange Bowl BCS Semi-Final matchup. Oklahoma will take on the (13-0) and #1 Clemson Tigers of the ACC Atlantic Division. Game time is at 4:00 PM EST on the ESPN Television Network. The teams will play at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The game is on Thursday, December 31st, 2015. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Oklahoma Sooners have all the intangibles going their way in the College Football Final Four. The Sooners are looking for revenge from an embarrassing loss to Clemson in last season’s postseason. Clemson must regroup after the suspension of three players a day before the biggest game of their young lives. The opening line has Oklahoma as a three and a half-point Underdog Against The Spread at a neutral venue. The Betting Odds total is 64-points for Thursday’s game.

The 2015-16 Oklahoma Sooners are on a seven-game winning streak, after the “RED RIVALRY” loss to Texas on October 10th. The Sooners are also 6-1 Against The Spread in the eight games. Head Coach Bob Stoops and the rest of the staff set the tone for the season last spring. Sooners players rallied the entire campus together after a harsh racial incident involving an on-campus fraternity. The leader of the Sooners run for a national title is transfer quarterback Baker Mayfield. The Texas Tech transfer has a knack for getting teammates lose in crucial moments of a football game. Mayfield has a future in politics after football if he so chooses. Oklahoma began their transformation in a nationally televised win at Baylor in the middle of November. The Sooner exhibited a form of togetherness not seen in this modern era of egos and me first attitudes. The Sooners offense has two of the prolific running backs in the nation with Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon. Wideout Sterling Shepard provides a vertical threat in the passing game. The Oklahoma defense is playing lights out football and will be up for the challenge in Miami.
The Clemson Tigers have been the talk of the College Football landscape this year. The Tigers short stay in the “MAGIC CITY” has not gotten off to a good start. Head Coach Dabo Swinney addressed the media Wednesday morning with new three players were being sent home for violating team rules. Sources say big play receiver Deon Cain, kicker Ammon Lakip, and tight end Jj McCullough failed drug tests. Swinney was his usual active self during the press conference. The Tigers have avoided controversy this season but how will they respond to Wednesday’s news? Clemson beat Ohio State in the 2014 Orange Bowl 40-35 and were destroyed by West Virginia 70-33 in 2012 at the same stadium. A lot has changed; Brent Venables reconstructed the defense, and they are one of the best in the land. Starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is the catalyst that makes the Tigers offense run like a well-oiled machine. The key to a Clemson victory is for Watson to find playmakers.
The Betting Odds Over The Total is 4-0 Oklahoma last four following a straight up win of more than 20 points.

Clemson is 4-0 Against The Spread their last four in the month of December.

Free NBA Picks: Toronto Raptors at Dallas Mavericks.

Written and authored by National Basketball Association Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Basketball Betting news and notes. NBA Premium Picks have been winning at an 75.4% rate and will continue through the 2016 NBA Finals in June 2016.

The (3-0) Toronto Raptors of the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division are in the “METROPLEX” for an out of conference matchup. Toronto takes on the (2-1) Dallas Mavericks of the Western Conference Southwest in 2015 NBA action. The teams will play at the American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas, Texas. Tipoff time is at 8:30 PM EST. The game is on Tuesday, November, 3rd 2015. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Toronto Raptors made moves in the offseason to take them to the next level. Toronto expects to compete for the 2015-16 Eastern Conference title. Dallas has one of the most outspoken owners in the league, and the franchise is one of the most progressive in the league. The Opening betting line has Dallas as a one and a half-point Home Favorite Against The Spread. The Betting Odds total is 205′-points for Tuesday’s game.

The 2015-16 Toronto Raptors improved to 3-0 with a 106 -87 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, November 1st. The Raptors are off to their best start since the 2008-09 season. Former Toronto point guard Greivis Vasquez made his first return to the Air Canada Center since being traded to Milwaukee in the offseason. Head Coach Dwane Casey is one win away from being the franchise leader in victories. Toronto parted ways with Vasquez, Amir Johnson, Lou Williams and Tyler Hansbrough. Johnson is the most notable; he’s a big man who can score off of the dribble and create for others. Luis Scola takes the place of Johnson in the post and the addition of former Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll will bring much-needed energy. Toronto has one of the best backcourts in the NBA with Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. Rookie first-round draft choice Delon Wright will contribute down the stretch. The key to a Toronto win Tuesday is for the backcourt to dominate. Toronto has the scorers to play at a fast pace, something Dallas likes.

The Dallas Mavericks took care of the Los Angeles Lakers in their last game. The win over the once dominant Lakers put them at 0-3 for the second consecutive season. Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle knows his team will have their work cut out in the best Division in the NBA. The Western Conference Southwest is loaded from top to bottom with an up and coming New Orleans team, Memphis always plays tough defense, not to mention Houston and San Antonio. Every team in the Division made it into the postseason last year with Houston going to the Western Conference finals. The Mavericks added two quality guards, acquiring Deron Wiliams and Wesley Matthews, both add a physical presence in the backcourt. The key to a Dallas win Tuesday is to play fast and take advantage of the home crowd.

Toronto is 0-5 Against The Point Spread their last five on Tuesday’s.

The Betting Odds Over the Total is 11-4 the last fifteen between the teams in Dallas.

Free NCAA Football Point Spread Picks: Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles at Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Written and authored by College Football Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football Betting news and notes.

The (2-1) Southern Miss Golden Eagles of Conference-USA West Division will make the trip to the “MIDWEST” for a 2015 NCAA Football matchup. Southern Miss play’s the (1-2) Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big-Ten West Division in 2015 College Football action. The game will be at Memorial Stadium on campus in Lincoln, Nebraska. Kickoff time is at 12:00 PM EST. The game is on Saturday, September, 25th 2015. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Southern Miss Golden Eagles are a much-improved football team this season. The Golden Eagles will equal last season’s win total win another victory and we are only in September. It has been a disappointing start to the 2015 Football season for Nebraska and new head coach Mike Riley. The opening betting line has Southern Miss as a twenty-two and a half-point Road Underdog Against The Point Spread. The betting odds total is 68-points for Saturday’s game.

The 2015 Southern Miss Golden Eagles got a much needed 56-50 road win at Texas State in their last game. Starting quarterback Nick Mullens passed for 333 yards with four touchdowns. Head Coach Todd Monken is trying to get the once proud USM football program back on track. There was a time in the last 1990’s when the Golden Eagles were better than both Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Monken knows his team is going to make mistakes it is part of growing. A lack of effort is unacceptable for his squad. Southern Mississippi is playing with passion and they believe they can come into Lincoln and get the win. Mullen is also looking at Saturday’s contest as a measuring stick for his improved team. The Golden Eagles begin Conference USA play on October 3rd, hosting North Texas. USM opened the season scoring just sixteen points vs. In state rivals Mississippi State. The Golden Eagles have reeled off back to back fifty plus scoring games. Monken believes his football team can put up points on a Big-Ten defense. The key to a Southern Miss win Saturday is for the offensive line to protect the quarterback. Nebraska is short on confidence and if USM scores early they have a chance to pull off the upset.

The Nebraska athletic department parted way with former coach Bo Pelini after the 2014 season. Enter Mike Riley who comes over from Oregon State. Expectations are high for the 2015 season, but BYU put a damper on the season opener with a last minute hail mary. Nebraska followed up the loss with a home victory over South Alabama. The Cornhuskers comeback fell short in a week three trip to “SOUTH FLORIDA” where they lost to the Miami Hurricanes. 1-2 in unacceptable in Lincoln, Nebraska. Fans of the “BIG RED” don’t want to get used to mediocre football. The Nebraska defense is giving up an average of twenty-six points per contest through three games. South Alabama only scored nine points, but BYU and Miami went over thirty points vs. The Nebraska defense. Starting quarterback, Tommy Armstrong threw three interceptions in last Saturday’s road loss. He must cut down on the mistakes. There is talent on the Cornhuskers offense and Riley must bring it out of players. The key to a Nebraska win is to focus as soon as they run out of the tunnel.

Southern Mississippi is 5-0 Against The Spread their last five vs. Out of conference opponents.

Nebraska is 4-0 ATS their last four vs. A team with a winning record.

Week 2 NFL most visible matchups: Key games for week 2 of the 2015 NFL season.

Written and authored by National Football League Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for Football news and notes.

Just one week into the 2015 NFL season and everyone have already put the Buffalo Bills into the Superbowl. Buffalo was impressive in their 27-14 home-opening win vs. The Indianapolis Colts. Head Coach Rex Ryan knows his team will be ready to host the World Champion New England Patriots on Sunday, September 20th. Football fans in Western New York have not had a lot to cheer about in the past decade. The 2015 Bills are giving them hope and with Ryan on the sideline he will make sure the Bills perform up to their ability. Starting quarterback, Tyrod Taylor never figured to be an NFL starter before signing with Buffalo. The Virginia Tech alumni will make his presence felt this season.

The 2015 Denver Broncos beat Baltimore in their home opener. It was one of the weirdest games involving future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning. Point Spread bettors are used to Denver putting up video game type numbers. With new head coach Gary Kubiak, the Broncos are minimizing the passing game, for now that is. Manning completed twenty-four passes on forty attempts for 175 yards. Not Manning-like numbers but the Broncos came away with a win. Don’t worry the Denver offense will gel as the season progresses. Kubiak understands the NFL landscape and what it takes to win. General Manager John Elway made the right decision in hiring Kubiak and getting rid of John Fox. Kubiak is the former head coach of the Houston Texans and at one point they were the best team in the league, but somewhere he lost the team. The former Broncos backup to Elway knows the mistakes he made and will have the Denver Broncos relevant sooner than later. Denver travels to Kansas City for a Thursday Night matchup.

The Dallas Cowboys looked like the same old overrated team in their home opener. Dallas came away with a less than deserved 27-26 victory in the last seconds of the contest. The hype with Dallas is just that, hype! The New York Giants had the game in the bag, but Eli Manning made a bone head decision by throwing the football instead of running out the clock. The Cowboys face the Philadelphia Eagles in a key NFC East matchup on Sunday, September 20th. The Dallas defense gets a chance to face their former teammate DeMarco Murray. Philadelphia lost their opener at Atlanta last Monday. As for key injuries, let’s start with the Dallas Cowboys and wideout Dez Bryant who will miss nearly half the season with a broken bone in his foot The Seattle Seahawks travel to Green Bay in a rematch of the 2015 NFC Championship game. Seattle was upset by the upstart St.Louis Rams on another questionable play call by head coach Pete Carroll.

Free 2015 College Football Betting Picks: Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Army Black Knights.

Written and authored by Football Expert Analyst Al Presto. Charliessports.com produces it for NCAA Football news and notes.

The (1-1) Wake Forest Demon Deacons of the ACC Atlantic Division will travel to the “EMPIRE STATE” for an out of conference football game. Wake Forest plays the (0-2) Army Black Knights who are independent in NCAA Football League action. The game will be at Michie Stadium on the banks of the Hudson River in West Point, New York. Kickoff time is at 12:00 PM EST. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Wake Forest Demon Deacons played very well for forty-three minutes at Syracuse but fell short at Syracuse. The Army Black Knights have been competitive against average College Football teams this season. But the Black Knights are winless. The opening betting line has Army as a five and a half-point Home Underdog Against The Spread. The betting odds total is 47-points for Saturday’s game.

The 2015 Wake Forest Demon Deacons took a 17-13 halftime lead into the lockers room last week at Syracuse. Wake Forest got outscored 17-0 in the second half of the ACC opener. Head Coach Dave Clawson believes the offense has taken steps forward in 2015. Wake Forest had twenty-three first downs in the road loss and Syracuse had just fifteen. Taking better care of the football is the topic of discussion at practice this week leading up to the game at Army. Quarterback John Wolford threw three critical interceptions in the Carrier Dome and he must take better care of the football. One of the interceptions was returned for a touchdown in the second quarter. The Wake Forest scout team must duplicate the complicated triple option which is run by the offense so the Wake Forest defense understands what they are facing. Wake Forest has the better team but understands Army is desperate for a victory. Clawson is preaching discipline this week, every player on defense must keep their assignments and not try to make spectacular plays. Clawson understands that is the best way to stop the triple option. The Wake Forest offense will be able to move the football. Another area of concern is how the team will perform in back to back road trips.

Army Head Coach Jeff Monken believes his team is better than they have shown the first two weeks of action. It’s hard to tell by the team’s offensive performance at Connecticut last Saturday. Army fans are used to watching the triple option offense runs nearly ninety plays per game. The Black Knights offense ran just 41 offensive plays in the loss to UCONN and that is unacceptable at West Point. Many fans of the Black Knights believe the team must change offensive philosophies. Quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw has accounted for 272 of Army’s 436 rushing yards. Monken must open up the pay book and throw the football a little more often. The triple-option Army style is very predictable and opposing coaches have perfected defending it so far in 2015. Monken say’s his offense takes what the defense gives them. The problem for Army is the talent on offense isn’t the best in College Football and he must adjust. The key to an Army win is to move the football on offense and play smash mouth defense and creat turnovers vs. An improved Wake Forest offense.

Wake Forest is 0-4 ATS their last four Football games on the road.

Army is 1-4 gainst The Point Spread their last five vs. The Atlantic Coast Conference.

Free College Football Betting Picks: Temple Owls at Cincinnati Bearcats.

Written and authored by Football Expert Analyst Charlie Red McDougall. Charliessports.com produces it for NCAA Football news and notes.

The (1-0) Temple Owls of the American Athletic Conference East Division will make the trip to the “SOUTHWESTERN PART OF THE BUCKEYE STATE”. Temple play’s the (1-0) Cincinnati Bearcats also of the AAC East Division in College Football action. The game is at Nippert Stadium on campus in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kickoff time is at 8:00 PM EST. The Best Sports Handicapper believes the Temple Owls got one of the biggest wins in school history when they beat Penn State 27-10 in Philadelphia. The Temple football program is on the rise. The Cincinnati Bearcats football program has reloaded after losing head coaches to top programs in the past few season’s. The opening betting line has Temple as a seven-point Road Underdog Against The Spread. The betting odds total is 55′-points for Saturday’s game.

The 2015 Temple Owls fell behind 10-0 early last Saturday. The Owls went on to score twenty-seven unanswered points in their victory over “POWERHOUSE” Penn State. The win was just what the football program needed and fans in the “CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE” are ecstatic. Temple head coach Matt Rhule knows the magnitude the win against Penn State has on their football program. The Owls don’t want to bask in glory, their focus must be on Cincinnati. The Temple defense looked suspect early in the opener but clamped down as the game progressed. Temple has opened the last two season’s with victories over power conference foes. Temple beat Vanderbilt in the 2014 opener. Temple quarterback P.J. Walker threw for 143 yards and no interceptions vs. Penn State. Walker and the offense must play mistake free football at Cincinnati. The New Jersey native is nursing a sore shoulder, but will be ready Saturday. Temple running back Jahad Thomas rushed for (135 yards) on twenty-nine carries and scored two touchdowns. The Temple defense is one of the best in the American Athletic Conference. Ten starters return from last season, which ranked fourth nationally in points allowed last season. The Temple defense must bring the same enthusiasm they exhibited against Penn State. Linebacker Tyler Matakevich is one of the best at his position in College Football. The key to a Temple win is to shut down the prolific Cincinnati passing attack.

The Cincinnati Bearcats won their opener against Alabama A&M. The Bearcats are looking to make it two in a row against Temple. Cincinnati beat Temple last season 14-6 in Philadelphia. The Bearcats stadium underwent a $86 million facelift and the team is one of the favorite to win the AAC title in 2015. Cincinnati quarterback Gunner Kiel is the preseason first team All-Conference selection. The Indiana native threw for 233 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the opener. The Bearcats offense will have their work cut out against a good Temple defense. Head Coach Tommy Tuberville knows his offense must be patient vs. The Temple defense. Running Backs Hosey Williams, Tion Green and Mike Boone must be able to grind out tough yards in the trenches. As good as the Cincinnati offense is, the Bearcats defense only returns five starters from last season. The Bearcats defense must come to play or it could be a long night.

The Road Team is 5-0 Against The Spread the last five meeting between the teams.

Winning NFL Picks For Tonight: Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys.

Written and authored by National Football League Expert Analyst Charlie Red McDougall. Charliessports.com produces it for NFL news and notes.

The (3-0) Minnesota Vikings of the NFC North Division will take a trip to “THE METROPLEX” to take on the (0-2) Dallas Cowboys of the NFC East in 2015 NFL Preseason action. The team will play on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at 7:00 PM EST. The Minnesota Vikings have a flawless record so far in the 2015 NFL Exhibition season. Did I mention these games are meaningless, but the coaching staff wants to instill a winning environment? The Dallas Cowboys are winless but are one of the favorites to win the 2015 NFC title. The opening betting line has Dallas as a one-point Home Favorite Against The Spread. The betting odds total is 42-points for Saturday’s game.

The 2015 Minnesota Vikings open the regular season in San Francisco and there is plenty of work to do in the next two weeks. Starting Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and backup Shaun Hill have been precise in the passing game. Minnesota also has Mike Kafka and rookie Taylor Heinicke; both will get looks from other teams on the waiver wire. Star running back Adrian Peterson will probably be held out of Saturday’s game. The coaching staff has made it clear Peterson is on hold until the regular season opener. The Vikings are also trying to find a replacement for offensive tackle Phil Loadholt, lost for the season in the Hall of Fame game. The coaching staff is impressed with 2015 second round draft pick Eric Kendricks. The former UCLA linebacker has speed and is physical in the run game. First rounder Trey Waynes needs some work at the cornerback position. Head Coach Mike Zimmer is the perfect person for Waynes to listen too. Zimmer is a defensive specialist and knows what techniques work. Zimmer was instrumental in turning Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “PAC-MAN” Jones career around. Waynes must trust what Zimmers is teaching. Kicker Blair Walsh is having a tough time in the 2015 NFL preseason. The coaching staff is sure he will find a rhythm before the regular season begins.

The Dallas Cowboys broke camp this week in Oxnard, California and are back in North Texas. There is still plenty of work to be done before the season opener. The Cowboys made headlines with the amount of fights they had at training camp. Wide Reciever Dez Bryant, who recently signed a contract extension, has been in the middle of the drama. Head Coach Jason Garrett is looking for his starters to dominate in the week three matchup. Cornerback Orlando Scandrick was recently lost for the season with an ACL tear. The Dallas offense will be without starters, Zack Martin and Bryant. Backup quarterback Brandon Weeden is out with a concussion. Starting linebacker Anthony Hitchens is also unlikely to play, he’s recovering from an ankle sprain. Joseph Randle looks to be the starter at running back, while often injured free agent Darren McFadden try’s to make his way back. Lance Dunbar is more than a capable backup. The coaching staff doesn’t know how much the starters will play. Starting linebacker Rolando McClain will see action, but is suspended for the first four games of the season.

Free 2015 Football Picks ATS: Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs.

Written and authored by National Football League Expert Analyst Greg Nelson. Charliessports.com produces it for NFL news and notes.

The (1-1) Tennessee Titans of the AFC South Division will travel to the “SHOW ME STATE” to play the (2-0) Kansas City Chiefs of the AFC West in 2015 NFL Preseason action. The team will play on Friday, August 28th, 2015 at 8:00 PM EST. The Tennessee Titans organization believes they have found their franchise quarterback. 2015 second overall draft pick Marcus Mariota is a natural leader with a level of maturity beyond his years. The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to overtake the Denver Broncos in AFC West supremacy. Everything is in place for one of the most talented teams in the NFL. The opening betting line has Tennessee as a five and a half-point Road Underdog Against The Spread. The betting odds total is 43-points for Friday’s game.

The 2015 Tennessee Titans beat St.Louis 27-14 in their week two home opener. The Titans are sold on their Mariota, who threw for fifty-nine yards before giving way to Zach Mettenberger, Charlie Whitehurst, and Alex Tanney. The 2014 Heisman Trophy winner has already been named the open day starter. Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt praises Mariota as a scrambler but wants him to keep his eyes downfield. Offensive Coordinator Jason Michael will hold nothing back from the signal caller. Marcus will get plenty of looks against a tough Kansas City defense on Friday Night. The Titans organization has upgraded the skilled positions. In particular the wideouts. Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas and veteran Hakeem Nicks will help tremendously. Second round draft choice Dorial Green-Beckham and Kendall Wright add depth and speed. Former Chiefs Running Back/Punt Returner Dexter McCluster is also an option of offense. 2014 draft pick Bishop Sankey is expected to have a breakout season. Tennessee is going to be better than expert predict. The Titans defense was terrible in 2014, but linebackers Derrick Morgan, Brian Orakpo and Wesley Woodyard are exceptional. Former 49ers cornerback Perrish Cox returned an interception for a touchdown against St.Louis. Safety Michael Griffin is the signal caller in the secondary and is underrated.

Head Coach Andy Reid enter his third season on the sidelines in Kansas City. The team has all the makings to contend for a Superbowl title. Quarterback Alex Smith and running back Jamaal Charles are as athletic as any players in the league. The team also signed wideout Jeremy Maclin, who Reid drafted in Philadelphia. Macklin brings speed to a position that many say have been the team’s liability the past few seasons. Offensive coordinator Doug Pederson plans to use Maclin in a variety of ways. The offense will be more creative with the St.Louis, Missouri native lining up all over the field. The Kansas City defense has the talent to dominate each and every game. Tamba Hali and Justin Houston can get to the opposing quarterback at will. Inside linebacker Derrick Johnson is one of the best at his position in the NFL. The University of Texas product missed the entire 2014 season after suffering an Achilles injury. The Kansas City secondary welcomes Eric Berry back into the mix. 2015 first round draft pick Marcus Peters has the potential to be great.
